TOP CONSERVATIVE Defects To LIBERALS - Poilievre Furious

hello everybody welcome back i have absolutely shocking news for all of you One of the most staunchly conservative, furthest right -wing politicians in the country has decided to switch sides and join the Liberals.

I think what the Prime Minister has spent the last year and a bit doing is setting up new trade negotiations, new trade partnerships.He's got 20 additional trade relationships that represent a market of 3 billion people.And every time I meet with a new ambassador, they know who Canada is.And I think that he's worked hard to do that.

What?Daniel Smith is saying that our Prime Minister is doing a good job?That he's signed over 20 new trade agreements with countries representing over 3 billion people on earth?What?But I thought that Pierre Paulyev said these trips are nothing but liberal show business to distract from spiraling debt, costs, crime, immigration, and job loss.Yeah, I thought that the conservatives thought that all these meetings our Prime Minister is having around the world were all show business and all the deals that came out of it were fake.

They made an official announcement about that.Conservatives call for actual procurement, not more fake announcements.Even the latest deal where Canada orders 12 submarines from Germany in largest defense deal of its kind that will catalyze massive German investment in the Canadian economy was just fake.Conservatives will always fight to get our proud sailors, soldiers and aviators the equipment they need to be effective.Unfortunately, this was not what happened at today's fake announcement.Yeah, I thought that was the official conservative position.

And on top of that, all the fake pipelines that the liberals are talking about.

We're looking at becoming a superpower and exporting not only LNG, but also oil, as well as some of the other work that's being done on electrifying our grid, because electricity powers everything.

Electrification?She's talking about electricity?Has she switched sides?Why is she so happy?Well, it might have to do with the new agreement announcement.Alberta, Ottawa and British Columbia.

Alberta's got a new plan for a southern pipeline to the BC coast.It still won't be easy, but everyone's on side.Our Prime Minister has done an amazing job of deal -making and compromising, trying to get everyone on side.And he's convinced British Columbia to be on side, British Columbia residents to be on side, and Indigenous leaders, because he has not backed down on the tanker ban in northwest BC waters, and the new pipeline route will go to the south.Because countries that we're going to export our oil to don't care where we build our export facility, as long as the ships arrive.And in order for the project to move ahead, it's tied to a big carbon capture project, which is pleasing environmentalists.

So everyone's happy.Everyone's on side.A compromise and solution has been reached.And so Pierre Paulev has no choice but to get on side and admit that he was wrong.Stop complaining.Join the team and help get this going for for the sake of all Canadians.

Right.I think the North Coast ban is ridiculous.American tankers travel through those same Pacific waters all the time.

Oh, there goes the bullshit buzzer.We have to interrupt.That was a lie.American tankers don't travel through those same waters all the time.Those waters where we have a tanker ban are restricted.There are tankers that leave Alaska and head south, but they travel around.

through the ocean, the Pacific Ocean.It's big, but let's let him continue.

So why does Mark Carney believe it's safe for our American tankers carrying American oil from Alaska to California is safe, but it's not safe for us to send Canadian oil over to Asia through the same passages?

There goes the bullshit buzzer again.And I have to say, I've never heard our prime minister say that he believes it's safe for Americanoil tankers to travel through our waters.He never said it was safe.You're gaslighting, Pierre.But many people say it's not safe.

That's why there's a tanker ban.Why would they think it's not safe?Maybe it has to do with the massive 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill, which still looms large over Northern Pipeline debate.Oh yeah, that massive oil spill from that safe American tanker, that huge environmental disaster.Maybe that's why people think it's not safe.Yeah, it's weird.

Maybe it's because 25 years later, scientists still spot traces of oil from that Exxon Valdez spill.Yeah, it's weird that even after 30 years, there's still some evidence of some environmental damage.Well, let's try and be fair here.Maybe Pierre Poliev has another really good reason why the northern route is the best choice.

Secondly, it takes about 36 hours less time to get to Asia from northern BC as it does from southern bc and that's because of the curvature of the earth it's just simple geometry the further north you go the the the the shorter it's about the geometry or the curvature he was having trouble explaining it there he's confused me i thought when you got on a ship and it was on the ocean that ship could just sail the seven seas and go wherever it wanted.

But he's insisting that the northern route is the better choice.He must have some really reasons.He's probably really thought about this.Why do you think the northern route is the best choice, Pierre?Take your time.Think about it.

Well, first of all, we have to point out that British Columbians want the pipeline.

Oops, there goes the bullshit buzzer again.I have to stop you there.British Columbians don't want the pipeline.In fact, Northeast BC First Nation, opposed to the potential Alberta pipeline route,through its territory, says Chief, and Northern B .C. leadersC.

leaders are relieved by Alberta's southern pipeline pitch.And the people of B .C.are much more supportive of the southern option, and the Premier of B .C.has said that he won't oppose this project now.

So everyone agrees.

So Pierre, what are you talking about?There's a radical group of fake environmentalists who've been fighting oil and gas for the last 15 years.

Oh, the radical group of fake environmentalists.Those are the only people that oppose the Northern Route.

I see.There is no environmental argument against pipeline to the northern BC ports.

Well, I already offered.I said, I think I know what the Americans want.They want us to sell them substantially more energy.And so if you need to make a promise of selling three million more barrels a day to the United States, I'm in.

Oh, there goes the buzzer again.There's a little bit of BS in the air.I see where the motivation comes.Sell three million more barrels of oil to the United States?Now where did you get that idea, Daniel?

We want oil.We need oil.We get three to four million barrels of oil per day from Alberta.Works for Canada.Works for the United States.We'd like to get another three or four million barrels.

Okay, okay.It's all clear now.I see what's going on.a liberal because now her projects are getting to move forward.But she's made a little bit of a mistake there.Let's get serious in this video now and discuss this.

The reason that we're building a pipeline to the west coast that we've done that compromise and that nation building project may proceed is so that we can diversify.Diversify away from the United States because one of the reasons we're in the situation we are in now is because we've become too dependent on exports to the United States.That's the whole point.We were locked into this north -south trade initially when Brian Mulroney signed the first trade agreement with the United States, that first NAFTA free trade deal that locked us into trading with the United States, especially when it came to oil and gas and energy.With that proportionality clause that was added into the agreement that precluded us from diversifying.The energy proportionality clause in NAFTA was a rule requiring Canada to maintain a fixed share of oil and gas exports to the United States, even during domestic shortages, the provision ensures the United States' perpetual access, continuous access, to a proportionate volume of Canadian energy resources, preventing Canada from favoring its own citizens first or exports first.

in a supply crisis.All of you who have some savings or have ever talked to a financial advisor or someone at the bank, the first thing they always tell you is don't put all your eggs in one basket.Diversify, because you never know what's going to happen.And if your eggs are all in one basket that becomes hostile towards you, you're in big trouble.So maybe we have to say that Daniel Smith has not crossed the floor and joined the liberals, but she's a little happier than she isis.

But, Danielle, you've got to not miss the point.This isn't about just increasing our production and sending it to the United States.That would be easy.We could build more pipelines to the United States.In fact, the President of the United States has just approved the formerly canceled pipeline that was headed down there.What was it called?

The Keystone XL pipeline.He's revived that and said he's pre -approved it.It's ready to go, Canada.You can build that project now.And our prime minister is resisting this.And the federal government, the Alberta government, and one private company from Alberta, Pembina Pipeline, have agreed that they would participate in building this infrastructure to the West Coast.

And if you're in Alberta, just think of the situation that your province would be in if we just did what she just said, increased our exports to the United States by another 3 million barrels a day.We currently export 4 million.We increase that to 7 million barrels a day, all going to the United States.Think of how much of a hold, how much leverage the United States would have on us if our exports were locked into those pipelines going to their country.Think of if you're a separatist from Alberta, if Alberta separated and became its own country, within a matter of months, the United States would have so much leverage on you that it could crush you.A one -trick pony exporting everything that they have through a little pipe about that big or a series of pipes that big to the United States, all they'd have to do is turn them off.
