Welcome to what I think was the worst travel day I've ever had. The day started out fine, we got to the airport and checked my bags and actually my bag was overweight, but he didn't make me pay for it. There was like absolutely no one in line for security so we got through that really quick, except Owen's bag got pulled aside because we had caramel apples in there. When I flew into LaGuardia, I realized that they had taking off before me so I was really sad heading back to my gate and this was where everything started going wrong. I had like an hour or two in between Owen taking off and me taking off but this

is where I found out that my flight was delayed. Not only was it delayed but I actually switched gates three times and we kept getting pushed back I want to say like five or six times. So needless to say, I had to get the biggest matcha I could find. And after like five or six hours, we were finally ready to board our plane. So I got a snack and a water. This was genuine relief on my face. But once we got all settled into the flight,

we had to call maintenance for one of the overhead bins that wouldn't close. So that took about another 30 minutes to an hour. There was also only one runway we could use so we had so many planes lined up. I think we were like 7th or 8th in line. I could not fall asleep to save my life on this plane. And I felt so bad for the girl behind me throwing up but I actually have emetophobia so I was struggling so hard this flight.

I was so so so happy to be in St. Louis and it was such a relief to see my mom waiting for me. for our bags to come out and I could not get it off of the carousel. It was so heavy. This was me telling my mom, let's get out of here because I could not handle being in the airport for more than two more seconds. I was so happy to finally be outside instead of in an airport.
