Trump EMBARRASSED as Judge Releases Fmr. Olympian at Reflecting Pool Arraignment!!!

And another setback and embarrassment for the Trump Department of Justice and Todd Blanche and Donald Trump, the former Olympian Davey Hearn, whose only crime was sticking his hand in the reflecting pool and grabbing out as a souvenir, a piece of floating liner.He didn't pour chemicals into the reflecting pool.He's not a biochemist.He didn't create the algae bloom.We know what caused that.He has been set out the front door of the courthouse during an arraignment hearing today by the superior court judge in the case, Carmen McLean.

And she didn't even have him post a bond.He's out on his own recognizance, O .R.as they say.And She refused the Department of Justice's request that he be barred and banned from the reflecting pool in the meantime.Right, he's such a dangerous criminal, public enemy number one.

We must keep him from the reflecting pool.No, says the judge.I'll see you on August 5th.I'm Michael Popok.Let's get to the reporting about Davey Hearn.As chants were outside the courtroom of Free Davey, Free Davey, his lawyer, Norm Eisen, took to the podium to continue to defend masterfully, Davey Hearn.

Play the clip.and every American should be alarmed about this prosecution.This indictment reflects theadministration's effort to scapegoat KV and to shift blame for their own failures.We will litigate these issues vigorously.We have confidence in our justice system to see through this misuse of government power against an ordinary American.

based on a false and politicized narrative.I'll take just a couple questions.We will now engage in the discovery process.We anticipate receiving substantial discovery.The evidence will establish, as we have stated today, Mr. Hearn is innocent.We will reserve questions about exactly what happened for the trial.

That is what the justice system is for.It is not a crime to touch the reflecting pool, to touch water in the United States of America.One last question.Hold on.One last question from this gentleman.We will vigorously contest the case at every stage of the trial.

You will see very active motions practice.You'll find a statement from Congressman Raskin.This is a case that should never have been brought.Davey Hearn is innocent, and we are going to fightthis case and entrust the justice system to do the right thing.That's all the questions for today.

It's about the lies of the Trump administration to cover up for their own incompetence.It is bright green or had been bright green, not because of sabotage, not because of chemicals being poured in.And there weren't seven people who have been arrested under any kind of felony.There's three people other than Davey Heard who were arrested for misdemeanors for putting pieces of the floating liner in their purse or pocketbook or pocket.And there's one guy who's trying to be made an example of by the Trump administration, Davey Hearn, who has a felony charge of destruction.They have no proof.

Have you ever seen, we're playing here as a B -roll next to me, have you ever seen the video of what they think is Davey Hearn?It's laughable.And then Doug Burgum, who's our Interior Secretary, best friend of Donald Trump, he goes on television and he basically confesses that it's not true.sabotage.It's restarting of the pipes lined with algae combined with probably the blue color created the algae bloom.Play the clip.

I want to ask you about the reflecting pool, because we spoke about a month ago, and the $16 million no -bid contract to renovate the reflecting pool was something you called fantastic, and you certainly defended the expediting contract in order to try to get it fixed in time for July 4th.Now, of course, chunks of paint are peeling off the floor.The algae has returned.What went wrong?

Well, the algae is all gone.I mean, that was a momentary thing.As it was being refilled, there was algae in the pipes.But the new technology, the nanobubblers that have been installed, if you go down there today and look at it, it is completely clean.and clear.And so for the first time, there's actual a solution that involves making sure that we've got an algae -free pond.

It keeps being reported that this was paint.It was not paint.This was an industrial liner that was put into the pool for the very first time, multiple layers fixing two and a half miles of expansion.

But it peeled off.Why did that happen?

Do you know?It didn't peel off.There was vandalism.There was boxing.box cutters.There have been seven arrests.

There was people literally trying to destroy part of a monument.

Now, Davey, Davey Hearn stands for all of us.All of the lies.Seven different people have been arrested.Chemicals have been poured in.Here's Donald Trump lying to the American people about the reflecting pool again.

We caught some people vandalizing our beautiful reflecting pool.We have the reflecting pool.They took a cutter, a box cutter or something very sharp.Can you imagine, where did these people come up with this?And they threw a little fertilizer in the water, which is not good.Fertilizer doesn't go well with water.

Clear, beautiful water doesn't work well.But they caught them.They actually caught them.And they've, those guys have some problems ahead of them.But they did some damage.But it looks beautiful.

I just looked at it, Doug, and it looks beautiful.And they're going to fix it.They cut the bottom.with a knife and pulled it and tried to do it as much damage as possible.These are sick people.

But in a court of law where you have to bring evidence and you have to bring facts and you have to have witnesses and documents and videotapes to prove somebody has committed a crime or to have them pretrial restrained in any way, the Department of Justice failed.Once again, how they got a state, well, a territorial grand jurybecause this is the District of Columbia, the district grand jury, to indict at all is beyond me.Lord knows what they said to that grand jury.We know that this Department of Justice has a nasty habit of lying to the grand jury, of bolstering their evidence, of vouching for their evidence, all cardinal sins of the world of prosecution.when Norm Eisen inevitably gets the grand jury transcript.

I'm sure there was prosecutorial misconduct in how they approached it.Who went into the grand jury?We know it wasn't Jeanine Pirro.We've seen her lash out at the media for her ridiculousness of her indictments.Just to remind you, here's a clip.One more.

Already this is a problem.Are you really talking about January 6th?I'm not.Okay, who's next?Not you!No.

Yes, you again, go ahead.

Who went in?Wasn't Jeanine Pirro.Who do they have that has state court or territorial grand jury experience?I'd like to know that.We've seen the indictment.It's less than a paragraph long.

Very hard to figure out what the facts are, considering even the indictment doesn't have it.I'm sure they're going to try to do a superseding indictment or some sort of other indictment, but they haven't yet.And Norm Eisen has him on the run, as he should.I'd like to get him on the show, by the way, to brief our audience about what transpired.We know why there is an algae problem.There's been an algae problem with the reflecting pool since before Barack Obama.

Barack Obama, with competitive bidding, with environmental experts consulting, did a$30 million.attempted fix of the reflecting pool, and it failed.Not because Barack Obama's not a hydrogeologist or a biochemist.It's a very complicated structure.It's got the beating sun down on it.

During the summer, it's a shallow thing.And what had contributed to the algae bloom, most people believe, is Donald Trump's use of a pool company to put a liner membrane of a dark blue or American flag blue, which heats up the water by several degrees, creating algae bloom.That, and as you heard from the Interior Secretary, pumping out the pipes that already had algae in them and restarting the system.So you need a filtration system, but the filtration system hasn't functioned properly.You need a sealant because the thing is leaking millions of gallons of water.And what does Donald Trump do when you got a giant hole in the roof?

and water is pouring into your home?Right, he painted the living room, right?Bob the Builder prides himself on his construction prowess.Donald Trump has built very few things.Donald Trump has licensed his name and the Trump Organization's name to slapping on a building being built by other people.He's done that for most of his career, but you can count on half a hand how many buildings for which he's been some sort of contractor.

He doesn't build buildings.Right.He puts his name up on buildings that are being built.And you see what happens the few times he gets involved.He knows better.He knows how to fix a leaky water system.

He did it 30, 40 years ago when he was a younger man in New York in the ice skating rink.I know because I went on the rink.Wollman Rink, it became Trump Rink.It was a leaky sieve that never operated properly after dozens of years in the middle of Central Park.He fixed it.Fixed the piping, fixed the ice creation system.

It was better.He seems to have forgotten that.Let's just drain it and paint it.What are you talking about?So I'm glad Davey Hearn, as you heard, free Davey, free Davey, free Davey.We're certainly in support of that.

We'll follow the next step.Next step is going to be a status update on August the 5th.The judge is certainly not concerned about this case.You know, no, I'm not going to keep them from going to the pool.Right?At all.

I don't care if he's out on a felony.I'm not going to put up a bond.You see where this is going.I think she's inviting a motion to dismiss the indictment.I think she's inviting Norm Eisen, and he will take her up on it, a motion related to the grand jury transcript.And I think it will find a favorable audience with this particular judge.
