Trump GUTS Centers for Disease Control and Prevention

Some news I found interesting but never got a chance to talk about. The Trump administration is gutting the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The department responsible for stuff like recommending vaccines, funding scientific research, even setting hand-washing guidelines. Thanks CDC. But RFK Jr. is rolling all of that back and it is causing chaos.

RFK tried to push the former CDC director out, she said she wouldn't step down, and then Trump intervened and fired her, and then three other senior officials left in protest. Now RFK is the acting director of the CDC. Meanwhile, Trump announced the federal government has a 10% stake in Intel. And we will be taking 10% of Intel, which does equal $11 billion, which is exactly the amount of money the CHIPS Act gave to Intel.

If you want companies to pay the federal government, why not just tax them more?

Get the National Guard in here. They're doing what? The National Guard is literally doing groundskeeping in DC.
