Trump's Canada Attacks BLOW UP In His Face With Staggering Military Deal Announcement

Meanwhile in Canada, they've actually escalated their turn away from the US.We've been longtime allies, but perhaps no longer as Mark Carney makes good on his promise to replace Canada's need for the US in a defense capacity with a new ally.Australian Canada have now signed a $1 .75 billion export agreement to build an Australian designed long range radar system.The deal inked on Monday by Australian Defense Minister Richard Marles and Canadian Secretary of State Stephen confer, marks the first phase of a pact to provide early warning radar coverage from the Canada -United States border into the Arctic.And shortly after taking over Fort Trudeau, Mark Carney announced that he'd chosen Australia's system over a similar system that we offer.And hypothetically, if the relationship between the US and Canada looked a little bit less like it does now and more like it has for decades, they probably would have gone with us.

And that is actually important because it's an important border, obviously.between us and Canada, but also it's the path to China and Russia hypothetically for their aircraft or missiles.And also, it's not just like a one time sale of the system.Sure, it's $1 .75 billion for the radar system, but then you need parts and you need maintenance.It's an ongoing relationship that can be worth a lot of money, which we've lost out on.And it's hard to see it as anything other than a very natural conclusion of what Donald Trump has done to Canada with the needless provocations and saying that he's gonna make them a state and all that.

They've shown that they don't think that they need us anymore, and that they can find other partners who are all too willing to step in and replace us.JR, what do you think?

I was thinking this from the beginning.We saw many of these leaders from other countries talk about the potential deals they're potentially gonna be making.Many of them are talking with outside of even this agreement here with Australia.As soon as those tariffs were put into place, there was this invincibility thought that they have to do everything that Donald Trumptells them to do, even though it doesn't make any sense.Why would they?

Strictly for the sake of trying to keep his ego going or congratulate him on his really bad decisions, just because he expects people to do things for him because it's him.This is coming to fruition.Some of these agreements that have nothing to do with us, as a matter of fact, could harm us, the benefits that we could actually take in.And we're starting to forget it.It took this long and it's not even that long.What, it was April of last year he kicked in these tariffs?

April Fool's Day.And we're already here where These things are being concrete put into place.So while we're still talking about these bad negotiations in Iran, and the fact he got in this war in the first place.Yeah, it's very important because that's like the driving force behind a lot of our politics.The other things that are just as, I guess important, but aren't as important in front of our heads because people aren't dying in front of us over it.It's going to hurt us in the long run.

And then when it does and it's concrete, we'll find other folks to blame and not remember that it all started in 2025.

Yeah, and by the way, it looks like it's going to go in a much broader overall set of directions than just this radar system.In March, Carney actually visited Australia, it's first time the Canadian Prime Minister has gone there in 12 years.And him and his Australian counterpart said that they're going to work more closely on things like defense like this, but also artificial intelligence and critical minerals.So maybe don't keep attacking them and mocking them and all of that.And by the way, we're focusing here on Canada and our relationship with them.But I'm also a little bit worried, well not worried, but I think it's worth looking into.

All those Gulf states that are invested in all this US defense technology, and the planes, and just we're going to be under the umbrella of American defense.And then we attacked Iran and showed that we can't actually protect them from drones and from missiles.Do you think that they're going to want to rely onprotection in the future?Or are they gonna look to, I don't know, China or Russia or something else?We've already demonstrated to them on the part of Canada that we can't be trusted.

And on the part of the Gulf states that maybe our systems just can't actually protect you, even from a state with as weak of a military, according to Trump, as Iran.All of this, really bad if you want us to have these partnerships.
