Donald Trump's lawsuit against the BBC is backfiring because he opened himself up to discovery and the BBC is now asking for his phone log from January 6, 2021, his personal diary entries for the two months preceding it, and more.According to the Telegraph, lawyers for the BBC are demanding a ton of records from the president that he does not want to give to the public.He does not want to give up in a lawsuit.As part of this $10 billion defamation suit he filed against the And well, that's a problem for him, because many of these records are those that he has sought to keep private.But he decided to sue the BBC, and as a result, he opened himself up to significant discovery.

Much of this is discoverable information.It's relevant information to the lawsuit.Now, the public will not see this.Discovery is not public unless it's presented in a public trial at a later point.But the BBC can see it.and we'll see how much he fights it, but it's already backfiring and it really just shows why you don't just sue just to sue sometimes.
