ultimate college glow up ❥ *sophomore year*

🎵 Hi guys, it's Nicole and welcome back to my channel. For today's video, we are going to be glowing up for my sophomore year of college. It's a very bittersweet day you guys, though. I'm filming this on Wednesday, August 13th, and it's my last day in my hometown before moving back to San Diego before I start my second year which is insane to say. It's crazy that it's already back-to-school season, it's crazy that I'm going to be a sophomore in

college, like oh my goodness you guys what the heck. I said goodbye to my friends already, a lot of them I've already left to their schools and although it's really sad I'm also very very excited to go back to school. I honestly feel pretty ready for my sophomore year, other than the fact that we need to glow up.

So that's exactly what we're doing today.

We're starting the day bright and early. I woke up at 6.45 this morning. It's currently 7am right now. I booked all the appointments necessary to fix cup so that I can feel physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared for my sophomore year of college. With that being said, I hope you guys all had an amazing summer. It's a good day to have a good day everyone. Colleen and college content is approaching. Let's glow up for my sophomore year!

We're starting off the day with some movement. I booked Pilates class. I'm so excited. I just changed into a little workout set from White Fox. Also peep the new phone case. She's pink and she has a tiger on it All right. I think we're gonna do a little middle braid down my back. I will keep in loving bringing my hair I think it's really cute. Okay, but I am so hyped for Pilates. I booked a class at Club Pilates, there's one near my house. I've never been before and I've never done a reformers pilates class. I've done like mat pilates, hot pilates, and I really like those but I've never done a class like on the machine and I've really been wanting to lately. I think it's called Reformer Flow and I'm hoping it's not too hard

because I've never done this before. But honestly, I hope I get to get spun in at the same time. Okay, braid is done. She cute I'm gonna bring my little Lulu belt bag. I just have my keys a little chaps Oh, she's slipping and then I'm bringing grippy socks These socks are required for the class that I'm taking and I think they sell them there But I happen to have a few pairs in my drawer already and look how cute these are you guys it's from white box They're pink and they have little hearts. Are you joking? I'm also bringing my hydro jug water Loving the animal print and then I'm just gonna scarf down this bar real quick. I just owe my cookies

Don't mind the massive boxes in the bag. We're bringing those to san diego, but I have made it to Pilates. They suggest you come at least 15 minutes before. So we are right on time. Let's do this thing

Post-Pilates!

Yay! I really, really liked it. I definitely did not know what I was doing for most of the time. So all the movements and the machine obviously felt really foreign just because it was my first time doing reformer, but the instructor was so nice, she was so helpful, and she was like setting up my camera and helping me get clips too, but wow. Definitely felt the burn throughout the whole workout. I can see how built and sculpted you can get if you keep going at it. I think now that I've actually taken the class and been on a reformer the next pilates class I take. It'll feel a lot more comfortable and I'll actually know what I'm doing

But that will definitely not be my last reformer pilates class. I really enjoyed it and I already know I'm gonna wake up sore tomorrow My legs are already hurting. I also didn't break out into a huge sweat, but I definitely felt the burn still which I kind of like Don't get me wrong I love when I have a the same time I feel like reforming Pilates is such a low intensity workout But you still feel it a lot in your muscle So it's kind of nice getting to breathe and slowly go through the movements

I also really like the ending too she turned off all the lights and we were in happy baby I love happy baby And then she said to set the rest of the day and I Already feel like I'm taking care of my body. I'm gonna go home and take a quick shower success you guys gay pilates Time for a therapy. All right, which emotional support animal should we have cutie squish or a weighted dino? I'm thinking dino today.

But it is therapy time you guys. I have my weekly sessions. Over the summer I've been doing every Wednesday at 10am. It's definitely gonna change once I get back to school though because I am gonna have class on Wednesdays but we'll figure that out. But I feel like I'm at such an interesting time period of my life. You know going into my second year of college I turned 20 this year. Everything's starting up again, school, dance team, and then also work. I feel so blessed and so fortunate to be able to do what I get to do. But with that, I feel like there's just so much on my plate recently that I can get,

you know, kind of overwhelming. So I feel like therapy has been helping with that. Here's a little reminder. Social media can be really, really intense sometimes as much as I love it and I'm grateful that I've been given an opportunity to have a platform for like the last 10 years of my life. It can also be a pretty hateful place. I think it's very easy for people to be quick to assume and judge not knowing the full story or not knowing even what they're

talking about so that's why it's just that much more important to continue to spread love and kindness. I know that sounds cliche, but honestly sometimes I feel like this world needs a reminder Anyways, it's time for therapy boy. Do I got a lot of say in today's session fun fact I never put on makeup before therapy session just in case that I cry you guys the first time I attended therapy I wasn't even talking about anything sad Like I was literally just introducing myself to my therapist and started crying like out of nowhere I was like what is happening? You're girls are so much just emotional. I can't help it. So we'll see if tears come out today But anyways, me and Dinah are gonna go to therapy. I will see you guys after kisses

Feeling really good. Oh, there is great But low-key after I feel exhausted cuz I just talked about you know, all the things that I've been stressing But if we're good, I feel relieved last thing I'll say though. Once again, thank you guys for being here I know so this is my last video as well But I'm honestly so so grateful all the ones who keep supporting and watching and showing love I always hope that my channel is a space for people to come for love and comfort

All right bodies it is hair time I just got ready for the rest of the day to my makeup on this cute little set put on all my jewelry and my Hair appointment is in about 15 minutes. We're not doing anything too crazy I'm literally just getting a haircut because your girl is in dire need to get rid of these split ends I don't even want to hold it to the camera that close because it's that bad you guys trust me I definitely take pride in how long my hair has grown like, okay pretty long. However, I do not take pride in these split ends I posted on snapchat the other day. It was like a video of me talking and someone commented girl

I'm sorry. I can't listen to you when your split ends are staring at me Gagged I was gagged. I'm just gonna ask my hairdresser for a trim. I'll probably get face framing layers Once again, I definitely want to keep it long still so we'll probably just do like half an inch to an inch But oh my god, I'm so excited. I love going to the hair salon I cannot wait for them to wash my hair to cut it to blow-dry it to style it. OMG and also I'm gonna bring my Kindle. Guys, I cannot believe I've lived without a Kindle my whole entire life before this because I love her. If you didn't know, I've been reading a lot this summer

and I was like, should I get a Kindle? Like I won't be buying as many paperback books. Also once I get to school too, it's not like I can fit a whole library shelf in my little dorm. I bought this little clear case from Amazon and put a little insert that I found off of Pinterest But I've been rereading all the off-campus and prior review books by Ella Kennedy I forgot how good they are if you know, you know, they're turning the deal

Which is the first book in the series into a TV show and I cannot freaking wait I've been breezing through the books these past few days. Oh my god, Garrett Graham and Jake Connelly Book boyfriends. Anyways, I'm totally sidetracking. Let's head to our hair appointment get these babies fixed I'm probably not gonna look too different after but Let's get my hair done I Oh my goodness It feels so much better you guys once again took like an inch off got face framing layers like a lot of layers and then She curled it at the end, but I'm obsessed it feels so healthy and light and I'm really happy with how it turned out

I think I'm gonna go grab an acai bowl though because all I had to eat so far was that bar this morning And I'm starving so I'm gonna head to Beach Bowls. Let's get some food. I Just closed the door on my foot Anyway, it's time to grub. I'm gonna devour this thing. Also shout out to the girl. I met in Beach Bowls. She was so cute This is the order I've been getting all summer. A regular tropical blend with bananas and mango. So yum.

i drove straight to my nail appointment which is oh it's right now i need to go but now it's time to fix oh they're so grown out Oh my god, I got this back in sometime in July It was right before I left to Palm Springs in Vegas for dance camp

But I got these chrome French tips, which are really cute and I apologize for how they look But like do you literally see them cracking like yo girl needs a new set. I'm gonna go back to the basics I'm just gonna get some good old bubble bath You can literally never go wrong with that color and I feel like that's just my go-to whenever I get my nails done So gonna fix these bad boys. My appointment is right now. So let's go Hold up, let me put on some lip gloss. Rare Beauty Naily Berry. Mwah! Alright you guys, nails are done! I'm actually obsessed. Full new set, I got Gel X, almond slash stiletto shape and then bubble bath.

This is gonna sound so dramatic but I literally feel like myself again. I don't know what it is about this color, but my nail tech did so good as usual. I've been going to her since like middle school. I found a salon I really like when I was in San Diego, close to my school. So I've been going there like throughout the year, but whenever I'm home for break, you already know, I was trying to catch all of my favorite salons and girls before I leave for a few months.
