He could help us in possession.That's the positive.But when I say that, I'm only saying it like it's James Garner.I'm not saying he's like Rodri.I don't think he's got that.You know, he's not, he's not that.

There is a, there is a, there is a, there are levels to this.He is good on the ball, but he's only as good, he's only good on the ball at a certain level.He's not, he's not Rodri.He's not going to dictate midfields and run, you know, the Premier League.There's a lot of work to do with him.He's definitely a prospect.

As I say, I think the positives are his passing and possession work.The negatives are, I think, physically, and positionally, there's a lot of work to do.And it's a prospect for 50 million quid.I mean, we spent 50 million pounds on Lenny Oro.He's not in the team yet.So yeah.

I've never heard anybody do a chat going, you know what?instead of going for Elliot Anderson or Tonali, I actually think £50 million for Andre Santos from Chelsea would be the smartest bit of business we could ever do.Because he's knocking on the door of the Chelsea first team and you put him in that Man United midfield starting every week in the Champions League and the Premier League with Menu and we'll tear it up.I've never heard anybody say that and that's what's scary because that's what we're asking him to do.For 50 million quid, we're asking him to come into our midfield, play twice a week with Mainu and be very, very special.And I think he is a prospect who also as well, this is really important and I've left this to the end on purpose.

You've just bought another player like Edison that split the fan base.So if he doesn't hit the ground running and he makes mistakes, straight away people are going to go, he's shit.And that's really hard.really hot.I won't do that because I didn't like it with Agate, I didn't like it with Dorgu.I will always give a player a chance.

Why were we not in for him ahead of Tonali or Elliot Anderson?Why have we desperately gone for him a week after missing out on Mateus Fernandes?Why didn't we go for him in May?Why didn't we go for him in June?Why have we gone for him now?People can talk about him being an amazing emerging talent and his brilliant football brain and the next Brazil number six, but Why have we desperately pivoted towards him then because we didn't get what we wanted?

If he's so amazing, why wasn't he plan A, B or C?Why is he plan E, F or G?It's a desperation signing and, you know, hopefully it'll work out.But I think it's a dangerous signing as well.I really do.Look, it's a player that we can look at in pre -season.
