Minnesota's fraud scandal stands out, according to federal auditors. What are you hearing from investigators right now?

There have been all sorts of governmental programs that Minnesota was doing that were unbelievably fraudulent, that again became money laundering schemes, that put money in people's pockets instead of going to the people. And Ilhan Omar was asked about it on CNN.

And will you tell me if this is a legitimate answer or not?

First of all, federal prosecutors say 59 people have been investigating these schemes so far. Americans at large stole tens of billions of forms of aid during the pandemic all over the country. Minnesota's fraud scandal stands out, according to federal auditors. What are you hearing from investigators right now?

Well, I've been following the cases closely as they've gone through the courts and we know that there are more indictments possibly coming. I think that number might go up to 73 is what I'm hearing.

Can you shed any light on why the fraud got so out of control in Minnesota? I think what happened is that, you know, when you have these kinds of new programs that are designed to help people, you're oftentimes relying on third parties to be able to facilitate. And I just think that a lot of the COVID programs

that were set up, they were set up so quickly that a lot of the guardrails did not get created.

Oh, well then maybe somebody should be fired. Maybe you, because you're the congresswoman of that area and you were working with third parties that didn't vet them properly as you were taking money from the American people, maybe you gotta go home.

I don't even mean back to Somalia, but maybe you just gotta go back to your house and find something else to do. But again, this is because, see, it's the same thing as the Maddow thing. Maddow saying there's intractable problems in the world,

we should just think about them the exact same way. And that is the great escape plan for all of these people. It's the same thing that Ilhan is doing. Well, you know, when things are happening, you know, there are crazy things like COVID and you just have to do things real fast and then wacky things happen

and no one has to, you know, pay the price for that. It's the same exact notion. They believe in something that is deeply, deeply broken and the blame never gets put at anyone's doorstep and the blame never gets put at anyone's doorstep because that's baked into the whole freaking thing
