WE MOVED!!! New House & Saying Goodbye...

Hi guys!

Okay, I am pausing the vlog. This is a very exciting vlog. Obviously lots of things are happening to bring you a very, very, very, very exciting announcement other than we moved. But I'm also coming on to let you know that I wrote a cookbook and it's available for pre-order right now. It's crazy that I'm saying that because I've been working on this book for over two years now.

This book has become my child and it's just been such a labor of love. It's been so much fun. It's been an absolute dream come true and it would not have been possible without the support of every single one of you. So first off, just thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. all of these cool things and I get to live out my dream every single day. I can never fully wrap my head around it because I feel like the luckiest girl in the world. So thank you so much to all of you for all your support, for watching my videos all throughout the years.

These things would not happen if it weren't for you, so thank you. Yes, I wrote a cookbook and it is finally available. I'm so excited to finally talk about it because I've been working so hard on it for so long. There are 75 recipes in this book and each one means so much to me. Basically when I was writing the book I wanted it to feel like a REM life vlog because obviously these vlogs are my everyday life and obviously if you watch one of my vlogs you see a lot of what's going on in my life from you know running to the studio to go record and spending time with my

family, traveling, hosting parties, nights out with friends, all those things. So I really wanted the book to just feel like my life and something that I would actually put out and something that I actually live through because that just feels the most authentic to me. So with that being said, I'm so excited. I hope you guys love it.

If you guys like my cooking content, then I think you're really gonna like the recipes. I hope that if you get it, then you can try them and you love them and it can live in your home or on your coffee table or in your kitchen and I can just share my love of cooking with you guys as I try to do every single day. So, with that all being said,

And I did film the whole behind-the-scenes process process of everything of, you know, when I was thinking of the recipes to testing the recipes over and over again, to all those sorts of things, like the whole process, the photo shoot, everything. Okay, I'm gonna eat my breakfast as I talk you guys through what's happening. As I said, I'm so jet-lagged. It's currently... They gave me a black coffee and not my matcha latte! Nooooo! I'm gonna take a bite of and then I need to talk so I can't eat and talk at the same time. Here we go This house is so echoey as you can probably hear this was described as a sweet onion bagel and it is delicious Wow Okay, guys, good morning. Welcome to the vlog We got home Sunday afternoon. It's now Tuesday morning. I could not sleep at all last night I went to bed at like 10. I woke up at 2 a.m.. I was wide awake for like 5 hours I am so thrown off, but I'm sure you don't care about that

I'm sure you only care about the fact that we are moving. I cannot believe it. I cannot believe that we are here. I'm sure this is a shock to a lot of you guys, but yes. Oh my God. I'm so sorry. My brain is so jumbled. I don't even know what I want to say. This has been a long time coming, but also came so so quickly. Let me just say, no, I am not pregnant. That is not the reason why we are moving so suddenly to you guys. We've been planning this for quite some time actually, obviously with the wedding being so recent, we literally hit the one month anniversary of the wedding yesterday. It was just a crazy time overall,

and Cal and I have been talking about this for so long. Long story short, I knew when I moved into this house that this was not going to be my forever home. Obviously at the time I thought that Cal was gonna be my forever partner, but we didn't know. Now we do know, we've been here actually for almost five and a half years now, which is crazy.

If you guys started watching during the COVID vlogs, when we moved in here, then you have been around for five and a half years, which is absolutely nuts. Obviously I'm speaking to that when I moved in and Cal and I were still a very new couple, obviously as we became more of a couple and decided to intertwine our lives more and had more big conversations. We both agreed that this is not where we wanted to raise our kids.

Also another big thing that Cal and I realized as we, you know, got married and we're planning to get married and everything is that we did not want to move while we were pregnant or while we had kids. So with that being said, we decided that this was obviously a really stressful time to move, but the most opportune time for us to move because it gives us time to Find a new house to get settled somewhere to put roots down and then get pregnant when we choose to do so

That's personally just our journey and that's what we wanted to do. And that's how it worked out for us I will say we are moving much much much closer to family Which is a big thing that we really wanted as well as you guys know We've been seeing my family so much more lately, which has been such a blessing and right now We're not far by any means but we want to be closer. So with that all being said we are moving I will say we are actually moving into a rental house because we honestly don't exactly know where we want to live We have an idea, but we want to test out the area first too when I bought this house

I knew that most likely it wasn't where I was going to be starting a family, but also I didn't test out the area before I moved here. And before we buy our next house, we really wanted to test out the area before we lived there just to see if we like it or if we don't like it, then obviously it's not a huge, huge commitment and then it's like a big stressor and all that sort of stuff. So yes, that is the big update. Sorry if I'm doing a bad job explaining everything right now. As I said, I have half a brain cell right now, but we're so, so excited.

And it's the start of a new journey. The past couple of days, we've basically just been like packing up all the rest of the things that needed to be packed up. We have been kind of just in our feels, but the fact that it's,

it was the last couple of nights of this house, it's pretty much empty. The past couple of nights we've been sleeping in what feels like a frat house. Our mattress is currently on the floor and it's going to be moved into storage while we go live in the rental. But obviously we needed a place to sleep

the past couple of nights. And we've just been kind of reminiscing on all of the memories that we've had here. We love this house so much So much has happened while we've lived here. For the past couple of nights, Cal and I have just been like talking about it and getting emotional over all of it. So it's definitely bittersweet. We're super excited to start a new chapter,

but also super sad to close this one. I can't believe that we lived here for five and a half years. This is the longest place that I've lived other than my childhood home. So there are so many memories. I just know this house like the back of my hand like I know every nook every cranny and it's really crazy that The next chapter is beginning. Yes, with that being said, obviously, so much happened while we were gone and I have to give the biggest shout out to my family because my family came out here and actually helped us pack up everything while we were gone. I truly am blessed with the best family in the world. I've never done a move ever in my life where I haven't been like packing every single box. I did have a little mini freakout in Tokyo when we were shopping on Takashita Street It hit me all at once and I was like, oh my god

Wait when we go home like this is a really big change like things are happening Like this is crazy and I had quite the freakout But then I reminded myself that this is what we want even though it's really stressful and a lot is happening at the same time this is the plan that we want and It's gonna be okay. Before we did leave for Tokyo,

Cal and I did pack up all the stuff that we wanted to bring to our rental because obviously we needed to pack that up before we left just so that that stuff wouldn't get packed up with all the stuff going into storage and then we wouldn't have clothes

or like essentials and things that we need for the move. So I did film a little bit of that. I will put that in here. I'm gonna get to packing. I have no idea what to pack for, but we're just going to pack for the summertime

and hope for the best. I'm going to go ahead and get my coffee. Guys, it is the night before we leave for Tokyo.

It is 10 45 PM. I'm pretty much almost packed, but we are packing up the kitchen or at least making piles of things that we want to bring with us to the house. My mom just got here. I have the best mom in the world. We already knew that, but not only is she here to watch the dogs,

she's also going to start helping pack up our house for us. She is a queen. She's an icon. I am truly so blessed with the best family in the entire world. I'm so, so grateful and I cannot believe that when we come home, it's going to look so different. I actually cannot believe this at all. I will say where we're living for the time being, the kitchen is very small,

so we're not gonna bring too much stuff, but just enough to get us through our summer cooking. Mom, come here! I have the best mom in the world who's helping us out.

Hello guys. Okay, left the studio, came back home. Everything is officially gone. This is so crazy. I cannot believe that the house is empty. I feel actually really sad.

Wow, it's really crazy how fast time flies. It's also crazy because I've been doing YouTube for 12 years now and almost half of my YouTube career which I can't remember a time when I wasn't doing YouTube took place in this home. There's still some stuff that we need to do around the house but... Hi baby! Hi sweetie! Repainting, patching up the holes, all those things. But here's Daisy and I.

They just got groomed today. They look so beautiful. And it's so crazy that you and I spent so many years together. This is Daisy's technically fifth move with me because I got her in college.

She moved to my college house with me, moved to my first apartment, moved to my second apartment, moved to this house, right? That makes it college, first apartment, second apartment, this house, and now the new house.

Five moves to my little princess, and then it's also crazy to think we brought Momo home in 2020, and she's only ever lived here in this house, huh baby? All of them got groomed today, they look so beautiful. Momo was raised in this house when we got her at eight weeks old.

And you! And Luna was also raised in this house from when she was a puppy, when we didn't know that we were gonna keep you, and then you just blessed our lives so much. It's so bittersweet, but I came home

to pack up all the girls' last final stuff, make sure the house is good to go, and then we're gonna load them into their car seats and take them over to the new house. Cal's been at the new house today doing inspections, walkthroughs, but yeah, I don't know if I'm gonna vlog in this house again

to be so honest, wait, I gotta take that all in. As an Aquarius, you guys know I'm not really a crier. So much of my life changed in this house and all of my dreams came true in this house and it's just so crazy. And first off, also, this house wouldn't have even been possible without the support of you guys so thank you so much for watching me for the past 12 years, past 5 and a half years, however long it's been.

I cannot believe that every single day I get to do this for my life and I get to have my dream job and live this absolutely blessed life and I just cannot believe it. I know I say this all the time but like making videos in my room at my parents house got me here. I'm just so blessed and so grateful. Should we do like a little last final tour of the house just in case maybe? Okay. As I said all the holes and everything still need to be patched up, and that is going to come with us to the new house.

But for now, it's staying. But you guys know we added this whole custom built-in from the Larios project here, which is so beautiful. I'm gonna miss it so much. The living room looks much bigger without the furniture in it, it's so funny. I feel like sometimes, oh, I just realized all the Tito's bottles are still there. We're gonna have to remove those.

I will be back to the house quite a few more times. I just don't know if I'm gonna vlog it. So I think this might be the last time you guys see this house on the vlog. But as I said, there's still other stuff we have to do. Here we have the kitchen where I made so many videos I'm excited for a new change excited for a new kitchen excited for something different

But so many recipes are created in this kitchen right here I'm also wearing my shoes in the house, which I don't normally do it's quite dark in here right now But here is the dining room that had the table here the chairs kind of a weird layout for a dining room I will say because it's more of a square so like a long dining room table. Kind of never fit, but it's crazy to think how many family meals were had there. How many family meals were had along this hallway here when we put the big table out.

Cal's family, my family coming together. Shane and Lily's family coming together. It's really special. These still need to be moved out. These were my old closet units, but front area had the couch and the fireplace over there. Pretty much empty. Loony's sitting on her little bed.

You look so cute. Here we have the last bits of the office, which again, these need to be moved out, but it looks so different now. Here is our bedroom. We still have our mattress here.

Don't mind all of the spray tanned sweat marks on there. This still needs to go into storage, but as you can see, the pups are playing on it. We also have here our TV unit that also needs to go into storage, but this is the remnants of the room. They're playing now on the mattress. Here we have the walk-in closet, which, wow!

It's empty and very dusty. Oh, I'm gonna grab this key. Here she is, if you guys remember, these shelves were not normally there. Again, the Larios project added these shelves on for more shoes, but love this closet. I'll never forget walking in here during house tours

and just being like absolutely mind blown. Having a walk-in closet because I've never had a walk-in closet in my life, and it was such a dream come true, and I'll be honest, I should have kept it a lot cleaner than I did,

but I felt like Barbie in this closet. Hello, Pusha Lou. Let's go to the bathroom, which is over here. Absolute dream bathroom, again. It's so crazy how echoey everything is. Walking into this bathroom when I toured this house five plus years ago, I was like, absolutely, I still am, gagged by the size of the shower.

I don't know if you guys ever like fully saw. It's just the biggest shower in the world. Like actually, I've never come across a bigger shower in my life. Two shower heads. Cal and I often would shower at the same time in a completely just normal locker room way

because why not?

I mean, we'd like talk in the shower and just catch up on life. And what's really crazy about the shower is there's a rain head up there, which I'm gonna miss this shower head. I might need to get that shower head in the new house because it's amazing from Amazon with the filters that Cal put on. He's very particular about shower filters.

We've got filters and a like removable one. There were just so many options. My massive bathtub that I used so frequently and I love so much still. I will miss you possibly the most. We have the office slash guest room, which actually still has quite a bit of stuff. Again, it's gonna be moved into storage,

but the guest room was open for the dog sitter who was watching the girlies while we were gone. So this will all be put away soon, but they just love, as you can see, just sitting on something soft. You can't even blame them. where all of the Patreon videos were edited, completely empty.

Wow, I have not seen this empty since we moved in. This is crazy to see. And last but not least, the room that you guys see potentially the most other than the kitchen living room area, like the room you see the most, the glam room.

This is honestly such a huge room. If you guys remember, I'd sit here. That's where my desk was. We had the couch back here. This still needs to go away, but wow, I love it so much. We get ready in this room here in the bathroom with the Impressions vanity mirror.

I'm gonna miss it, I'm sad. I'm gonna miss all of this so much, but I am so excited for a new chapter with my husband and my dogs, and hopefully one day our babies. Okay, with that, let me get all the girls ready to go and let's head on over to the new house.

It's like 10 p.m We're eating Earth cafe because a it sounded good and be it just so happens That's where Cal and I had our first date if you've never tried the Earth cafe turkey burger It's honestly the best turkey burger in the world other than the ones that Cal makes me They're so yummy, and I love their regular green salad. It's so yum I don't think I've even had their turkey burger. Oh, it's bomb with a little Dijon mustard. So good.

That being said, I don't want to show you guys too much right now because it is messy, but we will get to starting to unpack some stuff tomorrow. And I'll see you then. Bye. Also, we're not touching a box tonight.

and then drove it right back here. We just unpacked it all. So the fridge is pretty much stocked. I want to go to the farmer's market this weekend and get produce but for the most part we have bread, condiments, all the essential stuff. But yes, okay I have to actually go back to record Pretty Basic today.

We're actually recording Pretty Basic and BU today. And we didn't do the Patreon last night so we're doing the Patreon today. Today is a big filming day. I woke up again this morning at 2 a.m. on the dot. I don't know what it is about that witching hour, but I am getting up early. How are you liking the new place?

It's so beautiful, you guys. I'm so excited. We wanna fully unpack by the weekend so that we can just like, you know, settle in and enjoy. And there's not a ton to unpack, but enough that will take us some time. But yes today I do need to leave here in the next couple hours. I need to be ready

So I am going to kind of unpack the kitchen a little bit. Honestly, though You know what I should do to make sure that I make time I should shower now. I'm gonna do an everything shower I'm feeling not the best Everything shower get ready for the pod Then I'll be ready to go and then I can take my time unpacking and then just leave when I need to so I'm on time. That is the routine that I've learned,

whether I have to go somewhere or also on like days, like holidays where I'm cooking a lot. Get ready first and then you can finish up everything after so that you're not late. That's what I've learned works best for me. With that being said, I'm gonna go shower.

Today we're using the Gillette Venus Moisture Glide with a touch of argan oil. If you guys know, if you've been around for a long time, you know I've been a Gillette Venus girl since the beginning. At one point in time, I literally had my own Gillette Venus razor,

which I still do have. You do? I do of course. I keep, I try to keep one of everything that I've ever done just to show my kid one day in hopes that they'll think I'm cool. They definitely won't. But I've got a Gillette Venus razor to show them one day. But it literally actually kind of looked like this. It was metal. It was really nice and weighty and it had like a really cute little design all over it, and they smell so good.

But I'm gonna shower, and I'll see you soon. I am back, I am showered, I feel fresh, I feel clean. I'm wearing my little pepper mayo dress again, because as you know, I haven't gotten to unpacking anything, but I did get some coffee. our pots and pans yet. They're somewhere in one of these boxes here, but we ordered breakfast because I was getting really hungry and coffee, we did bring our coffee machine.

I brought all my matcha stuff, but again, haven't unpacked that yet. First off, I got a hot matcha latte. I figured I would bring this with me to the studio today. Let me give it a sip now. Ooh, oh, that's delicious.

Mm, oh, that is delightful. I'm about to chug that Wow and then for breakfast. I got this gorgeous toast It's toast with cream cheese smoked salmon. stuff on the fridge here. I don't know if it's magnetized but I did put a little bear with a
