Hey guys, as you can see i'm in a good mood. I think i'm always in a good mood Okay, i'm not always in a good mood, but i'm in a good mood today. Okay, it's bright outside I'm not gonna say it's hot the weather's real Y'all know how I am in turtlenecks and maybe send me but I keep wearing them because like they're so cute

What the heck like I will just suffer and pull on it. Anyways today. We don't have much on the agenda today It's kind of a chill day yesterday. I caught up on all of my work. I'm trying to get more structured with my days I don't know about you guys But like for me I find that like I'm so I have routine, but my routine is all over the place, right? For example, I go to my hot Pilates, right? But most people are like, my routine is,

I go to the gym at 8 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, right? For me, I'm like, I'm gonna go to hot Pilates three to four times a week. It could be at 3 p.m. on a Tuesday it could be at 8 p.m. on Thursday like I don't have I think I don't have it just like booked in right I'm trying to get more like that so I'm trying to have like certain days be like okay on that day all I do is my admin my

work and then I'll start my vlog on this day and then you get what I'm saying so anyways that's what I did yesterday today's a new day we're up we're out I've actually been up for a long time. I had a therapy appointment this morning and then I ran and picked up my Alterations. Oh y'all dragged me bad in that video Not only did y'all drag me for even going there in the first place Y'all dragged me for actually paying them and letting them touch my clothes And then y'all dragged me for complaining about the fact that I paid them. What is a girl to do?

Listen at that point it was done like I was already there I spent an hour hour and a half getting to us all right just take the clothes can you believe that I got to take them back don't anyways I have to take a lot of things back because they're not done they still don't fit I never had to do that with my shoes. Anyways, anyways, anyways. So we're about to head out.

I want to go to CB2 because they're having a floor sale which essentially just means certain items that are on display on the floor are discounted if you want to buy it. So I'm going to go over there. I also want to get some kind of like serve wear stuff because now that I have cabinetry we can have decorative plates again decorative bowls decorative glasses I got rid of all of my like hosting and like all of just like my excess of Like dinnerware when we moved to New York because I knew I needed to like minimize down right well now

I can maximize again, and I'm gonna do it god darn it so we're gonna go to CB2 and do that I also want to stop by the Frankie shop because I Walked past there the other day when I met with my friend Adrian last week I remember that Zara jacket that I bought we're gonna wear it today I think they make like a better versions essentially what I'm saying is I just use some jackets They also have a really nice trousers and y'all know I love a good trouser. So I just kind of want to peek around. I've never been in there I've never shopped in there. It just never like I don't know it just never really appealed to me I guess and then I walked in there and I was like

Ah, not kinda cute. They expensive as hell though. But we'll see. I'm gonna do some investigative research So before we head out, we're gonna make our first matcha in the new apartment been here for the last two weeks and I don't know well I do know why you guys would actually be surprised I've been drinking coffee because it's cold outside so I've been drinking hot coffee but anyways let's make a matcha I have my matcha station behind me and look what I finally got my hands on the matcha that I actually like you guys don't understand this has been sold out so I get this from tea dealers NYC I'll link it down below cuz I bought two so I'll link it down below because I bought two So I'll link it again because last time I linked it for you guys. I couldn't get my matcha for weeks

Yeah, so I had to I was using kettle which is fine, but this is better for me So we got some fresh matcha and yeah So let's go ahead and make a cutesy little matcha and then I'll show you guys my outfit and we'll head out so I Alright you guys, the matcha is done. My very first matcha and I knew of both. If you guys can't tell, I am very happy to have moved. There is just something about having freedom. No, like everyone was like, whenever I did my tour for my old apartment, I got so many questions like,

why are you leaving? This is such a great apartment. It is such a great apartment. Don't get me wrong, I got very lucky with my very first apartment. It was absolutely beautiful.

Like the finishes were really nice. The space was cool. Just for what I do, it wasn't practical for me. You guys have got to remember, I get like 50 packages a week of product, clothes. I just, I have a lot of stuff. And that's after, I don't think y'all understand, I probably got rid of about a half to three quarters of my belongings. Clothes, makeup, jewelry, the whole nine when I moved from Atlanta to

New York and Dubai. I got rid of a lot of my stuff. I need you to also remember I still got a good third of my things in Dubai. This isn't even all of my stuff and it was still too much for that apartment. Like everyone was like oh the closet space is great. I think the closet space is great for someone who isn't receiving the amount of stuff that I'm getting on a regular basis.

And the rooms were not bad sized, again, but for someone, because of what I do, I need distance from my cameras to be able to film and do my job and I do my job at home. It wasn't practical. If you look at it on my TikTok or on my Instagram at a lot of my like outfit of the days and like where i'm showing you my outfit and stuff they're kind of like crammed. someone actually commented one time they were like this isn't really your best work like the the space looks really like cramped like i feel like i can't see you and i'm like you saw the space hot guy you saw that guy you get

what i'm saying so like it was a beautiful apartment just for it didn't fit my needs to their fullest potential, right? So yeah, I just knew that I could create better work for myself and just you know when I was able to Go somewhere else. So once it was about time for my lease to be up Yeah, I started kind of looking early I started looking maybe like two or three months before my lease was up I got well, I thought I got lucky and that didn't work out

So then I kind of rushed to find this place but it worked out. It all worked out in the end and I'm very grateful to be here and I'm very happy to be here and God wanted me to be here. A lot of you guys when I was telling you about how disappointed I was you guys were like don't look at it that way you need to look at it as like a redirection right and I was like you know what you're right because the place that I thought was so perfect there were a lot of things that I was gonna have to like kind of compromise on that like didn't necessarily make me feel really

comfortable like I told you guys I prefer co-ops which are basically like condos rather than apartment buildings and so the place that I thought I was gonna go to was an apartment building right and like that was kind of different for me but like I was like willing to do it for the apartment but it didn't work out anyway so I'm back in like what I prefer so that's good right you know it all worked out is basically what I'm saying so anyways much a new space and we're

going to go look at furniture tomorrow we have some furniture deliveries and stuff so just lots of fun stuff I'm feeling really inspired and fresh and new and yeah so let's let me show you guys what i'm wearing and we'll get going okay so i'm wearing these jeans these are from zara uh these are the ones that i did get altered my jeans are from zara my top is from skims and then i'm gonna wear the zara jacket that we got in the last vlog

it's like chocolatey brown one it's a little warm outside but the temperature is going to start dropping again and then like in the shade, it's kind of cold. You know what I mean? So this is this and then I was carrying my earlier when I went to my therapy appointment, I didn't wear this. I had to run out of the house because I was running late.

And so I was carrying this bag and so I was like, Oh, I might as well just keep carrying it. So I just have a shoulder bag. I prefer shoulder bag when I'm like or a tote when I'm like running all around the city So we're gonna do that. I just got my everyday jewelry on that's kind of just been What I've been doing lately is just wearing my everyday jewelry with all of my outfits cuz like whatever Plus my hair is down. It's not like you can really see my ears for real for real

Anyways, I've been wearing long sleeves you get the point. I'm also gonna be wearing these glasses y'all don't understand these were such a great investment I feel like they make just such a plain like this outfit is so regular degular it's just a black shirt and a bomber jacket type of vibe but these make it look so much cooler to me they just add so much to the look like they just make it look cooler y'all please don't mind me you know how I get so yeah so I'm wearing the glasses and then for shoes I'm probably just gonna wear my little black netted ones from Steve Madden they just are so comfortable and yeah they're just easy for me on the go one two one two

and it's not cold like I said it's 65 degrees outside so it's kind of warm but yeah and then for my fragrance of the day I'm gonna be putting on of the hour mine and dossier's collab this is like a very if you haven't heard it wrong this is a very warm fragrance this is perfect for the fall and the evenings it's a very musky scent but in a feminine way what i will say though is everything wears differently on different people's body chemistry If you are someone who naturally has a muskiness to their skin because some people do this will pull more masculine on you

Right, so it really just depends on your base This is so good and to lighten it a bit for the daytime because it is a bit more on the strong deep I consider this a very nighttime scent. I Personally, I mean I would wear it alone on in the daytime. I have it a very nighttime scent I personally I mean I would wear it alone in the daytime I have it's very attention-grabbing it's very deep and sultry and smoky so to lighten it up a bit I'm actually adding

the Fenty skin their new like I don't know the names of it because it's not on here but it's their body sprays this is the vanilla one and this is just like pure vanilla okay so it sweetens it up There's vanilla in of the hour So this is just gonna pull it more forward because you don't really get a lot of the vanilla until the dry down But so it's not so heavy on this first hour of smell

I add this to me on the on the top on my skin I get a lot of the Tonka and the Suede and then after about 30 minutes, the Bergamot starts to peep out and then at the end it goes really vanilla for me. After about 4 hours of wear, it's so sweet smelling on my skin. In the very beginning it's more, urgh, right?

And then it shifts. So to just pull it straight, closer to the end, I just add a little bit of this and it just kind of carries it So well, it's so nice. This is what we look like. Let's get going We're just gonna run over to CB2 really quickly and the Frankie shop. Yeah, we're just gonna hop over there Shouldn't be out long and then we'll come back. We need to make dinner I thought I was gonna bake something tonight, but I think we'll do that tomorrow. Maybe Thursday maybe thursday so today's gonna be kind of a chill day nothing too crazy so let go okay well maybe it's not too early to think about christmas like i said the sale this chair is 25 off

um i don't need a chair but it's really nice wow this is the credenza i just bought like two months okay it was longer than that it's 30 off now i really like this. I really like this lamp. I really like this artwork. I just don't know where I would put it like in the house. All of this is on sale. I really like these. I just wish there was a darker one. I also really like those. They're really funky. I love this chair. I just don't have anywhere to put it. So I already ordered these online. They're like little dessert glasses. So you can put like ice cream or cake. Super cute.

So I'm not gonna buy these because I already ordered them. Let's see what else we find. Alright y'all so we finished. Ooh I just almost dumped my mantra all over me. We finished at CB2. So I didn't buy anything right then and there because i don't want to carry it around but i found a bunch of stuff that i like and a bunch of stuff is on sale. that's the only really frustrating thing about shopping with them is it's like you'll spend all this money on

something and literally like a month or two later it's on sale. i found a bunch of like decorative pieces for a console table that we're having delivered tomorrow. so i'm gonna go online and look at everything and kind of order it because i can't carry all of that around. but now we're headed to margiela because my sales associate texted me and said he got some um flats in and my size in black and i have been wanting a pair of black tabbies. y'all know i clearly am obsessed. i have a problem so

I'm gonna go check them out because they're like the ballet flats which would be perfect so instead of wearing these mesh ones I could be wearing my cutesy little those ones so we're gonna go over here with the quick cuz it's right here and then we'll go to Frankie shop I don't know of any other furniture stores and that's the thing CB2 didn't have any like coffee tables dining tables that fit my space they have some beautiful dining

tables but not that would fit in my space so anywho I'm pulling up now. okay so these are the ballet flats this is them in a nine and a half

let's see if I can get my foot in them.

there she is. so thank you. okay so i ended up getting the black tabby flats. i know i'll get a lot of wear out of them and i needed like a casual flat like everyday shoe to replace these mesh ones. the thing about it is steve madden makes a little tabby look-al-like but it's been sold out for forever so okay so we're gonna get these and then we're gonna go to Frankie's shop and then we're gonna go home. Okay chill, shoes secured. Now we're gonna head to Frankie's shop. I plan to actually try on a

bunch of stuff so we'll see if we can pick up anything. Okay we've made it. You can see the colors are right up my alley. So I only have one pair of trousers to try but they're this really thick like nice material.

So I want to see how they fit.

So they actually fit really good. This is a size small. They're just a little itchy like but they're thick though so these are like really nice for the winter but they kind of just look like work pants I like the length I think I'm gonna get them I wonder if they have other colors in this exact material but you see this crotch thing happening

All right you guys so for dinner I am just making something really really easy like this is something I used to eat as a kid my mom used to make this for us it's literally just like some kielbasa sausage with peppers and onions and over rice. So I was craving, I seen this on Instacart when I was in my grocery shopping and I was like oh period. So it's so easy, you literally just cut everything up.

The sausage you just brown it in a pan. I like mine real burnt. You can cook it to your liking. And then you just saute your peppers and onions with some seasonings and put it over rice. So I'm just let y'all kind of watch me cut because it ain't really much to do. so

Dinner is served. I've got my meal. I know y'all it don't look like much. This is my little, it's kind of like a little sausage hoagie thing but like no bread basically. Rice instead. Y'all see I ain't put too much rice okay. I'm trying to keep it cute. But here's my food.

And then of course I have a nice ice cold ollillie pop. I told you guys. Um, I don't know what took me so long to get on the Ollie pop trend And before you say, oh, have you tried poppy? So just the ginger ale one put my straw in here

But it's okay, this meal, she snapped with this one, right? So anyways, I sat down, I showed you guys and then I took my first her and I was like, oh I know she goes to bed really early, so I was like, oh my bad, because she was in bed.

And I was like, no, I just took a bite of my dinner and it made me think of you. And she was like, oh like in sync? What's going on? Is this like our mother-daughter telepathy? Anyways it was just really funny so I just wanted to tell you guys that. Okay now I'm gonna finish my food. I got Theo these new toys and he's going nuts. I found them on tiktok Duh, and it's this new restaurant in soho. It's supposed to be real fun like dinner and a show I said, I know it's just me and you and we're going to dinner at 5 30 p.m. On a like weekday

but like like you wanna go have some fun? And of course Scott is always down. So I'm like, okay, period. So that's where we're going. But I just have a major complaint. And I know someone's gonna say, oh, you gotta go here, you gotta go there. This is fine. I just think we should gentrify in reverse.

Where are the beauty supply stores in Manhattan? I don't mean that literally. That's a rhetorical question, okay? I don't know, the way that it took me to find, anyways. So, I'm just putting that out there. Maybe we should start a trend. But yeah, so, now let me tell you guys my dilemma. There's two things happening right now.

Number one, remember I told you we have another furniture delivery, right? It's for restoration hardware. I ordered a console table to go behind my couch because I have a couch in the middle of a room now. I never had that before, so I never had to put anything behind my couch because my couch, well, no, my couch was in the middle

of a room in Atlanta too, but I just didn't decorate there. So like, that don't count. Anyways, basically what I'm trying to say, y'all. I've had, this is my second issue with them. Well, it's not gonna get delivered for eight months? That don't even make no sense. So obviously I find

one that I like that says it's in stock and will ship like the very next day, right? So they're like cool let's schedule your delivery. They schedule it for like the next day. Then they gonna call me back and say, actually, the truck not moving, something, something going on. We don't know when you're going to get it. I said, what do you mean you don't know? Cause if it's not within a week, cancel the order. I only ordered it because it wasn't stocked. If it's not in stock, I'm gonna go find something that is.

You get what I'm saying? Cause I leave for Dubai very soon. things done right I don't have time to be waiting low keto it's like well if you ain't gonna be here why you just can't order it don't question don't question my madness okay anyway so I called them back the next day right they don't even call me I called them and I'm like hey you guys told me like this was going on with my furniture like what's tea and they go oh yeah we can schedule your delivery for today why the fuck did I have to call y'all for that? And the reason I'm feeling that way is because restoration hardware is way too Expensive for me to be having to do outreach to get my stuff. Whatever cool. I'll let it go

So here we are today You know They call you the day before to give you your little two-hour window and they're like we're gonna deliver it between four and six I say it can't do that. I said the building does not allow deliveries after 5pm. Y'all know how HOAs be, okay?

They real strict. So I'm like, yeah, I'm not trying to piss these people off. I just moved here. So I'm like, yeah, no, it needs to be here before 5. Also, I'm going to dinner at 5. I want to see my console table.

So they're like, oh, let me see what we can do. I'm like, yeah, and it was in the COI when So the certificate of insurance, there's also specifications on there that literally say Deliveries need to be made between this time and this time. So what a freak did you schedule me? Whatever. It's 430 Guess what's not here. Not the console table. I'm like, do you know you have 30 minutes 30 30? Yes So I'm like, okay, cool, whatever. Worst case scenario, hopefully the doorman will still let them deliver it and I can just eat that, right?

Whatever. Second dilemma. You guys remember the YSL shoes? My nasty Lemon Peppa Steppas, Roach of the Corner shoes, right? They're gonna eat down with this outfit

that I wanna wear today. Not only are they gonna eat down, you down I need them for this outfit the outfit just doesn't give the same without them like the way that it is going to tear down so just I need the shoe right so the lady told me yeah we get the shipment you'll have a Monday that was a couple days ago guess who don't got their shoes not me so then she says oh it was delayed you'll get them today by 5 p.m. it's 4 30 guess who don't got their shoes I'm like when them today by 5 p.m. It's 4 30. Guess who don't got their shoes

I'm, like when people say bye 5 p.m. Do you mean at 5 p.m? Just say at 5 p.m. So then at 3 4 i'm not like where is it by 5 p.m? I mean, yes, it does mean like at the latest you'll get it by at 5 But like it just seems like you knew I was gonna get it at 5 you might as well just tell me at 5 so I'm not just sitting here like anxiously like where is it where is it because that's how I feel right now and I'm like what if they don't come now I have to find another outfit keep in mind I need to leave for dinner at like 5 15 so I'm

like I don't have much of a window and of course I want to make a video in my outfit because it's gonna be so good not to share. Y'all restoration hardware has to be a joke. So my table just got here. It's damaged and not even like oh like a little bit and even if it was just like oh a little bit because restoration hardware is too expensive. So all of the issues that I

just told you about right? Y'all why is the whole tabletop cracked? So I don't know if y'all can see this there's a whole chunk missing out of it. There's a whole chunk missing and then it's cracked. That's not the design. You can feel this. It's like oh my hands ashy. Oh my god. I've been working hard girl. Anyways it, it's completely, like, you can feel this. It's cracked all the way across, right?

So I'm like, what the hell?

The wood is completely chipping all the way across the base of the thing. On this side, it's completely, y'all see that? You can feel this. It's like, I don't know what this is. So I'm about to call, and it's filthy,

So in my mind, I'm like, okay, we'll get a matcha and then we'll kind of just mosey around a little bit and waste time and get

the cake because I'm not like, yeah, like I don't want to go home. I don't have enough time to come home and then go back out by the time I do that. You know what I mean? just like cool I'll just go straight from Pilates mosey around get a little matcha I haven't like bought a matcha in a really long time either so I'm like cute get some steps in but I don't want to be all sweaty betty betty because in case I want to like go in a store like we might stop in like another furniture store or something anyways let me show you what I'm bringing so I'm bringing the matching sweat sweat pants to this sweat shirtirt. And it's just so soft, it's so comfy. It's a little too cold outside for this, I'm not gonna lie. So, we'll see. I just have a little like, skins. It's a bra, but it's like,

So I brought a change of clothes and then as far as like hygiene is concerned So this is like my little secret when you're not able to take a shower But you need to like freshen up a little bit. there's only like four or five of them and usually they're packed because the classes are like 20 to like 20 people per class. And I'm not gonna lie, public showers freak me the f out. Like I feel like I need shower shoes. Like that's a whole process for me. I would rather just be a little dirty and clean up, you know, the areas that I need to.

So, you know, yeah, I'm not a huge fan of their facilities personally. I feel like the locker rooms are really really small Especially for the amount of money you pay whatever So if you are someone who really like needs a good facility shower, whatever from your gym Hey, they have nice products but the showers themselves they look clean, but I'm just I don't yeah So you this right here this loon is it luma luna daily spray So this is an everywhere surface to wipe spray. So basically it's like a cleansing spray. So you spray it you wipe Oh my god, the Sun is coming in so bright you spray it and you wipe and it basically just cleans

Obviously, it's a hot sweaty class You're so what team bad as long as you clean yourself after in my opinion you don't smell you're still dirty you still need to go take a bath but you can you know like what I'm doing it's enough for me so also it's New York it's stank already so like and I also just have my like a little wet wipe I always keep these in my bag though my hairbrush I've got a couple hair ties and then I've got a little bit of lotion and then my little

But this is the stuff that I bring with me. And yeah so I'm gonna fill up my water. Where is it going girl? some go-walking shoes but I still wanted to be cute so let's go I think we made it I'm just following the crowd lots of kids so I'm like this clearly must be where I'm supposed to go. So yeah. We are going the right way so you just go walk straight down this path. We're in the park now. We're in the gardens and it's a four minute walk. Wow so pretty. I see what you are. So we're patched up until I Absolutely can't be anymore because I have some work and stuff after Tuesday But in the meantime, I want to go to Trader Joe's right now. They opened like 20 minutes ago

I'm trying to go before the crowds. Okay, one thing that I've learned about Trader Joe's in New York, it's not like, okay first of all Trader Joe's in Atlanta used to be nuts, right? But not like Trader Joe's in New York. It's a whole nother beast. Stuff is always out of stock.

The lines, I've just never, coming from the burbs, that's just not like that. So I'm like, oh no no no, like I need to go now like cuz I want to make a charcuterie board It's like a little fall coated a charcuterie board. So oh you guys are falling I literally was like I feel like you're getting lower and lower and lower That's what we're about to go do so I'm suited and booted. It's freezing. I'm gonna put another jacket on top of this I got this hat on cuz my selling you guys she's coming out tonight. She's coming out today. So I'm gonna be bald and look. This is my sweater Mallory Mallory made for us for her birthday. Do you guys see this on the back? And then that's me. Okay, anywho

So let's go to Trader Joe's I'm gonna show you guys everything that you need for a shirt Well, not that you need but that I get for my Coochie boards and you can do it as you see fit you can use whatever cheese whatever meat whatever fruit. I know that there are rules So charcuterie is meat and cheese board is cheese. I just call it charcuterie because it's everything together There are rules to this. I don't follow them. I don't even know them if I'm being quite frank

I just put stuff on a board. We can just call it a grazing board. How about that? We're just gonna call it a grazing board So we're not calling it something that it's not, since we're not following the rules. So that's what we're gonna make today, a grazing board, and I want it to be very fall coated. So I've already got some pumpkin butter. I don't know if you guys remember when we bought this from Williams-Sonoma.

So this will definitely be on our board, so when it comes to any spreads or anything, we might just get one other jam or spread or something, because we already have this. well yeah we'll just see like what Trader Joe's has to offer us because you know they do a lot of seasonal stuff so and then when we get back we also have a lot of packages we're gonna be doing some organizing in the house today so yeah today's gonna

kind of be like a home a home day I don't really see us leaving today yeah no I'm gonna enjoy my rent.

Let's get our things. These are always a must for me. They are so good. I know some people don't like them. But these things, I always get a manchego. It's one of my favorites. It's very basic, very simple. It's a hard cheese but it's so nice. So for soft cheese, these are really really good. I usually get the blueberry but for the holiday like vibe I think cranberry will be better. It's a nice fresh goat cheese, love. Now I would do a brie as well. I've started to actually really enjoy brie. When I first started eating cheeses like this it wasn't really a fan but i think we're

gonna go with another hard cheese.

well mozzarella is technically a sauce so we'll do another hard.

i've never tried this before but it looks really really good so i'm gonna get one of these. You can never go wrong with a good old Gouda. So let's throw this on. I have way too many cheeses, but options. So after cheese, we're then gonna do the meats. I'm not gonna lie, the selection in Mr. Joe's

is not that good. I always say start with the bulk of the items, like the bulk of the board, which is your cheese and your meat. So yeah, you can never go wrong with a prosciutto I'm not sure it's not like my absolute favorite, but you kind of have to have it on the board. I absolutely Love a peppered salami. It's just a huge pack But I love this is one of my favorites Trader Joe's also makes these like variety packs

These are perfect because you get a bunch of different meats and it's a good amount like not too much not too little. And I decided instead of the traditional prosciutto we're gonna do the brussela. So those are our three meats. So now we do the accompanants. Accompanants? The things that go that aren't cheese or meat. So crackers are my favorite and then of course you can never go wrong with a water cracker

but I'm gonna skip on these and we're gonna go for the pumpkin and cranberry ones. since it's a holiday board, this will be perfect and then these will be like the basic crackers. another really fun aisle to go down when you're making your boards because tritatos usually has a really good selection of like just different jellies, jams, preserves. i'm not gonna lie, this one's like not the best. we already have a pumpkin butter but i was hoping for some kind of like maybe apricot or something but this one sounds kind of interesting with berry and lemon curd and the descriptor says it's nice on a holiday board so maybe we'll try this out cuz I

don't really see any other chutneys or jams over here but they might be in a holiday section but for now we're gonna get this one. Now this is where things get controversial because I believe there is no board without little baby pickles but a lot of people do not like pickles. I already have olives at home so this is gonna be my little salty snack on the plate. Okay so the nuts aisle was absolute carnage so because it's a holiday board I got some salted pumpkin seeds. You definitely want to put a nut on your board at least just one it just

gives like a crunchy Nutty, it's just nice. So I got the pumpkin seeds I've never put these on a board before but how it is and then I always get these if you've watched any of my Charcuterie making this is a 100% must for me Even if you're not making a charcuterie board girl come get these because they are so good and then for dried fruits I got some cranberries and some apricots. So yeah. And then I would always say something indulgent on the board, like a chocolate or something

like that. I'm gonna do this chocolate bark. I was trying to find something a little more seasonal, but this year, they didn't really do much this year. So, alright, well this is everything for our board, other than your alcohol of choice if you're gonna do some wine.

But yeah, a sparkling apple cider would be really cute. But do I feel like carrying this on the train? I do not. Alright you guys so we've been back at the house I put up all of the ingredients from Trader Joe's for our charcuterie board tonight I will go back through it whenever we're gonna make the board tonight, but let me tell you something. I got like a little it's not a ramekin because you can't I don't think you can put this in the oven but it's just like a little snack dish and this one came broken as well so I need to write them or email them so that they can make that right but the way that they packaged it was insane like i've never seen anybody do that with like ceramics like they put it in this giant box with a bunch of space so it could just like fling around like i even amazon stuff comes packed better than that i was actually shocked

so i'm gonna email them about that and then i'll kind of figure out what we're gonna do because we're gonna need to go get another board but I just didn't plan on leaving the house anymore today like that was that's why I went out early this morning to go to church I said you know we're gonna have a little in the house moment but now I'm like I don't know so I'm gonna figure that out but I just wanted to show that to you guys because Wow but my other things did come okay I got these little like dessert glasses because we're gonna make a cake tomorrow me Mallory and Alexis are gonna get on a call and we're gonna make an

put a pair of heels on I still wear heels in New York but nowhere near like I used to wear heels in Atlanta my point being though is that I don't always just want to put on leggings or like a sweatsuit don't get me wrong I'm gonna still do that I'm gonna still do that when we went to Trader Joe's this morning I looked cracked like I'm a student still do that I only have on makeup because I had to take pictures and film for Marshall's had I not had to do that I at least would not have on makeup I might still put the same clothes on but I definitely wouldn't have

had on makeup I have to take this sewing down like y'all when I show you what my hair looks like under this damn sewing. That's another conversation for another day. Remember when I had to go find a beauty supply store when I was complaining about Manhattan not having beauty supply stores on every corner? That's another thing. Y'all ask me, oh, what do you miss about Atlanta? The only thing that I miss about Atlanta is my friends,

hookah being everywhere, and then I just realized beauty supplies being everywhere. There's a beauty supplier on every fucking corner like I don't have to go far to find a beauty supply store. Anyways, for my bag I'm carrying my little Chanel, my shoulder bag, because I just wanted a shoulder bag. I was gonna put on a tote, like my tote bag, but I kind of liked the contrast of this preppier bag

with this more chill, almost kind of masculine-esque, off-duty work fit type vibe, and like the hat, I don't know, it was doing something for me that I like enjoyed. I don't need all of this, so I don't even know why I have all of this in here.

So like I said, I'm just gonna get a cheese board and maybe some wine glasses because like i said i got rid of the majority of mine and i think it would be cute to have like a nice wine glass because we are gonna have wine tonight i've already got some sauvignon blanc at the house so and some jalapenos this is such a sexy glass i love the red ones because they're taller i I don't know if you guys can tell, but they're for red wine, but I want to put white wine

in them.

I did end up just getting the white wine ones. Remember I was like, oh, I'd really like to get the red wine ones, because I like that they're taller and bigger. But I just got the white. Because in reality, I'm like,

why do I need a bigger wine glass? No way. So these are them. I told you I got rid of a lot of stuff when I moved. But what I know for a fact I didn't get rid of, I don't know why,

I only have one of these wine glasses. Just one, just one white wine glass of this. Now here's the thing I never use these to actually cut my cheese but they're good to put on the board like if you're eating with other people so that they can scrape and get cheese. I mean you will use them. how gorge. so like imagine those like with the bowl. oh my god gorge gorge gorge gorge. so I got these as well so I need to wash these too. so yeah that's everything that we got from CB2. I went in and got what I said I was gonna get. I mean we did get a little extra obviously

these knives but like it goes through the board you know? You know. So I'm gonna kind of clean up a little bit. I thought we were gonna do some home org today. Some home organization but time got away from me and here we are so that's not happening but we will do that tomorrow so tomorrow we're gonna organize all my makeup we're going to get my rug for the living room came it's downstairs I'm not getting it out of the package room right now I literally told my doorman I was like please just please

Should I say cuz you're not really making anything this takes as long as you want it to and again the stuff that I got you don't have to get you can get whatever you want there's there's rules but there's no rules girl especially if like obviously I'm making this like really decked out and then my man's gonna have some I'll probably share some with my doorman downstairs so it doesn't go to waste but if you're making it just for yourself you don't have to have like a bunch of things like you can literally just have one cheese one meat do you get what I'm saying it's about

however you want to do it for yourself so let's go over the things that we got like I told you guys rule of thumb like if you're making for a group or a party or you're making a larger whatever size board three cheeses three meats two meats it's up to you but three cheeses usually gives you like a really nice variety on your board and it'll always look really pretty I would always recommend making sure you get a hard hard cheese a soft cheese and then the others can be whatever you prefer you

definitely want to make sure you have at least one soft cheese and one hard cheese and then for your meats again it's really up to you I usually like to have some sort of like sausage on my board but they're they only have like summer sausages and I was like well that's not really the vibe I'm going for I'm gonna pull out all the ingredients that we're gonna use I want to leave the meats in the fridge because they you can form them better when they're cold so I

don't want to put them out on the counter and they're getting warm so let those first. So for meats I have uncured salami this is just my preference also if you don't eat pork you can get like all beef cold cuts or you can use chicken you can even put salmon on your board like I said there's no rules to this like put whatever floats your boat. Me personally give me the swine I want real deal sausage okay but again you can put whatever you want and then I also

You know, those are the types of cheeses where it's like everyone's gonna like this it's fine for me to put on the board because everyone will like it right so manchego is like a middle ground easy yeah i also ended up getting a gouda gouda is also really nice it's a bit stronger depending on the kinds that you get but typically everyone's down for a little gouda gouda okay and then i also got this toscano cheese I've never had this it had it's with black pepper and it's just cow's milk. It's not goat's milk or anything And it's a hard cheese stick really firm. So I don't know. I just was like, hmm. Let's try it So this is like a random one that I got I've never had this so we'll see what it gives

I'm so like our softer cheeses. I have my mozzarella balls I just love these on a board I feel like they just offer a completely different flavor profile I love the way they look on a board I think they're really pretty you can put them in a bowl you can kind of toss them around the board if you just want like little rando ones like sprinkled around you can do a lot with them so and they also just taste really good like even just as a snack like you know not on a charcuterie board, but just like you're in the house. You're just like, oh I just want to pop one like they're so good. And then next um, I have the chef chevrey

Chef, i'm pretty sure this is pronounced chef. This is like a goat's cheese. It's just a really soft goat's cheese and This one's with honey So remember I was gonna get the one with cranberries But then I seen the one and then I did end up getting a brie because I just was like I want Another creamy cheese on the board. So I got this double cream brie and this one's with truffles So we'll see what this one's getting. So that's all the cheeses that we got

Everything else is just an extra for the board I would say outside of like a jam or like a chutney Those are typically standard on a cheese board. But everything else I'm about to show you is just extra. Oh, and crackers, of course. So we'll start there.

Like I showed you guys, I got the brioche toast. I love these. These are kind of like abnormal for a board, but I just think they're so good. They add such a dense crunch. Like, they are just so yummy.

I just love these so I get those and then I also have the pumpkin cranberry crisps that I showed you guys these are like seasonal whenever I make my charcuterie boards I always try to make them for the season like whatever season we're in so if it's summer you know I'll put something a little bit more summery like strawberries you know like just very summer-esque things if it's fall winter you move in that direction like I've got some pumpkin stuff going on here

So the next like additional thing that you can add to your board is a fresh fruit for this board I'm gonna be doing apples cuz I already had an apple. Ooh, mine's a little bruised I actually like an apple on a charcuterie board just in general, but that's what I'm using on this one Usually you put grapes grapes are always great. They go with good with the wine. They go good with the cheese I might throw a few grapes on here because I do have some grapes in the fridge But yeah, um, the next thing that I have are the salty things that I like to have on the board I always do um some pickles and olives on my board. That's just a go-to for me

I love a good pickle. Like I love the bite with the cheese and the meats. It just does it for me But this is again kind of like up to your own decision if you don't like pickles and you don't like olives just skip it It's not necessary like at all. This is just like a me thing. I love them on the board and the next for like nuts. I Always always do these candy pecans. These are so good If you like pecans, even if you don't like because you'll like these I'm telling you right now They are so good. And then I also have my Pumpkin seeds that I got I've never put these on a board before but for the season and the holiday

I was like, this is this is right up the alley for the buds So I got those and then you have your dried fruits I have some sweetened dried cranberries and I also have some dried apricots. Oh Let me tell you something about these. I have posted about how I love these and one of you guys wrote me and was like, hey, be careful. Apricots are a natural accident. I thought that it was just all this damn cheese and the cheese board because I

always put apricot on my board. I always do. I thought it was this that was making me not to be TMI, but you will definitely be empty the next morning Like when you wake up girl Which is kind of a good thing because this is a lot like Charcuterie boards are not you would think they're healthy because you're just thinking like oh cheese Well not healthy, but you're not thinking they're bad for you know this there's a lot of calories

That's about to be on this board that greasy meat salty greasy all this cheese Anyways, be careful with these is basically what I'm trying to say. We have our jams our chutneys Whatever it is that you want to put on the board today I have the pumpkin butter that we're gonna put on this is gonna be great with like the cheeses and the toast Oh, I'm so excited for that. And then I also got this berry and lemon curd Trader Joe's recommended this It said it would be really good with a white wine for a fall cheese board.

I kinda wanna taste this though, because I need to know if I even wanna bother with it. That's gonna go great with cheese. What is a curd? I don't know what a curd is, because this is not like a jelly.

It tastes like there's dairy in it. Oh, there is, there's eggs, butter, cream. Oh this is nice. Put this on the board. Okay, that's going on there. Cool. And then the last thing, I always put something sweet whether it just be like a few little squares of chocolate. Like I always just kind of put something kind of indulgent and I usually like to go more in a dark chocolate realm. Completely up to you if you don't like dark chocolate whatever um

they didn't really have anything too seasonal but then i did come across these pumpkin spiced pretzels i'll sprinkle a few of these on the boards chocolate covered pretzels are always really good to put on your board in my opinion i like them on the board but i also got this dark chocolate bark so we'll probably use a little bit of this as well. So yeah we have lots of space to fill up. Now let me show you what I'm putting everything on. So this is our board of choice today. I absolutely love this. Like I said you guys seen it's from CB2. It's so freaking pretty. Um so this is where everything is gonna kind of go um except for things like the jams and stuff that need to go in some sort of like

container. I got I got these I thought these were gonna be smaller these are just like little mini bowls I got these from CB2 but they're quite large in my opinion way too large for any kind of jams or anything I might put the pickles or the mozzarella balls in here usually I would go for something more like this this is like a soy sauce dish I got this on Amazon and then I also have one just one because I broke

the other soy sauce dish I got this from Crate and Barrel a black one so I'll also use this so two different ones for our two different jams so I'll be using those but you can get those on like Amazon just looks up soy sauce dishes or sauce dishes and just try to get like any kind of like small little like Nothing too deep

you just want like a little small saucer and they fit really nicely on the board and they add a little bit of like color And just different like texture and makes it all different. We might use this. I'm gonna keep it out just in case but We're gonna be starting I always like to start with cheese, then I like to do the meats, and then everything else goes after. But cheese is the star of the show, so you always wanna put your cheese down first, okay?

So you guys know I was getting a coffee table delivered today from Restoration Hardware. You guys know I got a console table was delivered broken in multiple places. Quite literally this table should never have went to anyone's house. It never should have been able to sell to someone right? I ended up having to call them back complaining because if you guys don't know like no matter what you spend your money on, no matter how much it costs, no matter where you purchase it from, you should be getting what you purchased. Point blank period right?

Nothing should be damaged, nothing should be should be broken however when we buy cheaper things our expectation of its quality and or its longevity is a bit lower when you spend more money like a lot of money especially on a brand that is considered very i'm not gonna say prestigious because it ain't they not like that but definitely closer to the higher end spectrum of furniture you absolutely are expecting your quality, experience, etc to be top-notch and if you do experience issues in any of those spaces, you're expecting it to be an anomaly, not

something that is normal or common or expected. After getting this piece of furniture delivered in the state in which it was delivered, also my customer service experience with RH during this whole thing which was absolutely insane. I'm thinking this is a one-off, this cannot be normal. I have purchased from Restoration Hardware on two other occasions prior to this. In my old house in Atlanta, my couch was from Restoration Hardware, I had no issues. My mirror

was from Restoration Hardware, no issues. I'm i'm thinking He's looking around he like we took this out of the crate like they they opened it in my hallway So i'm watching them open the crate. There's no screws And he's like they didn't in the screws With the marble pieces you absolutely need this to be screwed down like your tabletop has to be screwed down He was like I tried to see if we had some screws that could fit

I said, I don't want you to try to find screws that fit. They need to provide the screws that fit for the table." He's like, yeah, I'm like, take it back. And I'm calling them and I'm cancelling the delivery for this console table. I want them to come and take this back and I want a refund on both of my pieces. And I am not purchasing from them, at least not in New York. I don't know, maybe, I don't know if it's a New York thing. I don't know what's going on. I absolutely will not be spending $3,000 for a table that can't even come properly with the pieces I'm not gonna pay upwards of $3,000 for a table that comes chipped cracked and the wood is splintering if that is restoration hardware

Standard for their furniture by all means you can keep it that way, but I won't be purchasing I don't want any part of this. I am actually pissed if I'm being quite honest. ♪ Let it, a lot of charm, I just don't so much all right you guys we just finished dinner with the hungry we had a good old time with a little catch-up lots of talking yapping it's literally midnight we came to dinner at 9 so you always know it's a good time when you're at dinner for hours. As far as the restaurant it's a cocktail bar so there's an actual restaurant called Brass but we just went to the cocktail bar portion which is kind of like a lounge it was a great

vibe they ended up playing music like later towards the night our wine was really good the salad was great. The oysters were just kind of like, I didn't really care for the shrimp cocktail. I didn't even have cocktail sauce. So that was a little weird. The fries were really good. But that's all the food that I had. It was decent. I would go back like for the vibes and just like it's not a restaurant. So like if you just want like light snacks and just to like chill and have a good like cocktail and a good environment
