What Happens If You Screenshot A Screenshot 1000 Times?

What happens if you screenshot a screenshot 1000 times? So apparently there's very little quality loss when screenshotting an image, but surely eventually the quality would degrade, right? Well, to test this, I took this picture of me and started screenshotting. Now I have to say, after the first 100, there wasn't really a noticeable difference in quality, and it really wasn't until the 200th when the more and more to the right, alongside a further darkening of the photo that looked like the brightness was being lowered.

And this trend continued for the next couple hundred, and it wasn't until 700 when I finally stopped clearly seeing my facial features. It continued moving further and further to the right with a few random adjustments at times, but screenshot 900 looked like this, which meant that I had just 100 left. And these were definitely the worst, because by the time I got to the 1000th screenshot, it looked like this, only showing about half of my picture from fading to the right, and a dark film over the original photo, making it fairly unusable. I will say, all things considered though, it does hold some decent quality.
