What the Heck Is Carney Doing With Our Money in Africa?

What is our prime minister up to?Welcome back to Moose and Loose.Today, we've got Anita Nand, Mark Carney's foreign affairs minister, once again over in another African country.What is she doing over there and what are they doing with our money?Let's jump into this.A continuation of the previous video, I showed you Anita Nand over in Benin, Africa, building a green, sustainable port with our money.

Well, we've got this one here right on Anita Nand's account.It says Canada's diplomats have dispatched on a new mission.life.That means moving with greater urgency, using our relationships abroad to strengthen Canadian commercial interests, address barriers facing our businesses and build more secure supply chains.This mandate reflects the world as it is today, where economic security, defense and sovereignty are deeply interconnected.Through our diplomatic network, Canada is building the resilience and autonomy needed to shape its own future.

Now, what exactly are they really doing here?They are sending their diplomats around.I mean, Anita Nand is going around herself.Here we are once again, a continuation of her in Benin before we get to the next country.She's in Cotonou, which is the name of the one of the main cities there.I showed you the 26 million dollars for the green sustainable port that we're helping finance over there.

Well, we've also got this one.They signed an agreement for regular political consultations and announced 17 million across seven initiatives supporting women, school nutrition, clean energy and regional security.That's right.One in four Canadians are skipping meals and they're paying for meals and school nutrition in Africa with a permanent diplomatic problematic base in Benin, Canada is ready to deepen its engagement across West Africa and turn our shared priorities into action.This is getting very stinky what's going on here.So what exactly is she talking about here?

Here she's meeting with some people in Benin.From this official joint statement here you can see from August 5th, Anita Nanda over there is establishing and officially opened an embassy of Canada in Cotonou.This happy occasion demonstrates Canada's commitment to strengthening its diplomaticpresence in Africa.There's something else going on here.So here's the unveiling, Embassy of Canada.

I mean, millions of dollars.I just showed you 17 million, 26 million for a green port.You're just blowing our money.Here's another one.In Cotonou, I met women artists who are building livelihoods through their creativity, heritage, and voyage brings their creations together in one place, giving these entrepreneurs space to connect with customers, earn from their talent and grow their businesses.How about doing this in Canada where taxpayers are the one paying for all of this?

Look at this.This is not free.This is not just a fun little photo op.Canada's 9 million investment in women's economic empowerment.So entrepreneurs in Benin can have a chance at building a business.Are you kidding me?

No offense to these people, but they didn't pay taxes in our country.Why would they get our money?I mean, this is nice.These are nice works of art, but I mean, we've got Canadians who could be doing the same thing.It's unreal.It doesn't end there.

We've got Canada and Benin mark 64 years of diplomatic relations this year with growing commercial ties and shared commitment to strong bilateral cooperation.As merchandise trade has increased 77 % last year.I showed you that it's like whoop -dee -doo.We do 400 billion with America.Now just to take a look at where our money's going.So this is Benin and this city down here, Cotonou is right on the coast.

Now just to give you a good idea.Well, first off, there's no Google Street View that tells you anything.There's a well, there's a couple spots over here, mostly just some dots here.You pick a This is where our money's going.Yep.Here's a better shot.

I mean...This is Africa.This is emerging kind of city that you can see there's some towers in the distance, a lot of poverty, not nearly as much garbage as India, though, that's for sure.Now, here's a great shot from above.You can basically get a good sense of the land here.So I mean, this is what you'd expect in Africa.

You know, it's emerging.You can see there's some towers.It's starting to transition.And that's where this comes in.They want to lock these guys in with net zero.Net zero works in Africa because they don't have a lot of oil and gas, but they do have a lot of sun.

Some of these places, a lot of wind.And who would this create customers for?anyone?Brookfield, of course, giving them a little bit of nudge.That's what I think Carney's doing.They're spending millions of dollars of our money, giving them a nudge into net zero helps either bring customers to Brookfield.

And not only that, like brings in all of these people, you know, if they bring in an entire economy, hundreds of thousands, millions of people across Africa who just get brought in with that ecosystem, buying millions of solar panels, or this government themselves bringing in net zero for the for the countries here.Now there's one other thing that I think maybe Carney's doing here, and there could definitely be other reasons.I'm just trying to figure this out myself.But going over to the next country that Anita Nand is visiting is none other than Cote de la Vore.So just over from Benin here is this country.Cote de la Vore's growth has made Abidjan the center of commerce and investment in West Africa.

Vice President Tamoko Meluit Kone and I discussed how Canada's Africa strategy can support the country's national development plan through infrastructure, Canadian enterprise, and stronger commercial links.These countries like Benin must be laughing like, oh, they're going to bring in $26 million for that and $9 million for that, $100 million.OK. I mean, in this case here, it says with nearly $1 .2 billion in bilateral merchandise trade, $425 million in Canadian direct investment, and approximately $1 .5 billion in mining assets, our countries have strong foundation to expand economic cooperation advanced priority projects.I think the other thing that's going on here is they're securing a net zero pipeline of mining assets, and they want access to these cheap assets in Africa.And as net zero becomes more popular in the eyes of Mark Carney and Brookfield trying to make it the stable around the world, they'll have the pipeline of supplies.They'll lock this in early.

They're building this development out now so it can help them in the future.That's what this seems like to me that and then also maybe creating customers, whether through the countries themselves or millions of Africans.Why else would we be over they're spending money to help finance a green port in Benin or invest in women entrepreneurs in Benin.We have plenty of Canadians who need food or money.to be entrepreneurs in our own country.So this goes on and on.

We've got tomorrow, Côte de l 'Ivoire will celebrate 66 years as a sovereign nation.I'm glad to be in Abidjan with my counterpart, Foreign Minister Khaled Kaba, as our countries celebrate decades of friendship and look ahead to what we can achieve together.Building on that, Shared History announced over 68 million in new Canadian financing and investments to expand access to capital, strengthen school nutrition, The Liberals do not care about Canadians whatsoever.They absolutely do not care about us.Scrolling down here, I've highlighted a few things you can see.to last.

advanced shared privacy.economic growth, security, strength, governance, and a more business friendly environment.Why are we dishing out 41 .4 million?They must be laughing all the way to the bank with that.Or is some of that money being put in a side briefcase tucked away there for safe keepings for later?Nobody knows.

And you can see here it is strengthen inclusive, sustainable economic and business environment, improving accessibility, quality social services for vulnerable people.How about our own vulnerable people?Strengthen inclusive, resilient and stable governance systems.This is a complete joke.Our government is not serious.All they're serious about is doing what's wrong for its own citizens.

We're not done yet, folks.So here we have Anita Menand meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense for the country's continued efforts for stability across West Africa.It says Canada is providing an additional $1 .5 million to International Academy of Counterterrorism.

You can't make this up.

You can't.So countries can draw on training and expertise developed here.I'm sorry, what?We're investing in counter T -word over in Cote de Lavore?How about in our own country?What do we say to this?

This isn't a serious government.This comment here, stop wasting taxpayer money.

Solve Canada's homeless problem.They don't care.They don't care about Canadians.

You know, we got this clip here of David Eby.You know, I rag on this guy.But this is the one clip he gets a pass on, because what should they be spending our money on right now with wildfire smoke all over the place?Water bombers.We build them here.They're built in Ontario.

They're built in Alberta.And Carney has not spent a single dollar on water bombers, but he's building the green economy in two African countries.Well, in just this one trip, he's doing it in numerous, like a couple dozen countries.But it's so shameful.

We've been able to provide support to a number of other jurisdictions around the world, most recently in the last year, California, when they were facing significant wildfire threats.earlier this season, out to other provinces like Ontario and Quebec to provide additional support, out to Australia.support.We have firefighters back from Australia.If Mexico ever needs our assistance, of course, we would be there in a minute.From a practical point of view, British Columbia covers the expenses, of course, of the wildfire fighters coming up from Mexico.

But from a friendship perspective between our two countries, this is obviously crucially important.

the Americans and we all help each other.That's how this should be.We should be putting out the fires and in the world's best interest.Meanwhile, Mark Carney spending 1 .5 million on International Academy for a counter T word so countries can draw on their training and expertise in Africa.Are you kidding me?And that's not all Carney's problems.

So we got CBC Watcher posting this one here.So this clip on CBC basically showing that Carney, if he isn't careful, he's going to be losing a lot of support here.The environmentalists are not happy with what he's doing.

Ottawa is facing some heat from a prominent environmental group.Environmental defense is accusing Prime Minister Mark Carney and his government of backtracking on Canada's climate progress.They're citing the federal lobbyist registry to back up those claims.Analysis from that group shows that the federal government was lobbied by the fossil fuel industry more than 1 ,300 times over the course of the last year.The report also shows Mark Carney met with industry lobbyists There's no way that environmentalists in Canada are cool with this.

1 ,300 times they lobbied the government.Carney's a con man that it's all about money.He doesn't care.Net zero is a thing he came up with to make money.I don't think he's really an environmentalist.I think this is all a big sham that he's planned for a long time.

His book values all of it is just to sell this plan here to try to get people to buy in so he can get rich.

Natural Resources Minister Tim Hodgson.met with the fossil fuel lobbyists 83 times since last May.That's more than four times as many meetings as any other minister the previous year.

oil and gas industries access to those top decision makers.So we know that Minister Hodgson, he's the person who's making decisions around regulating oil and gas industry.And as you said before, he took 83 meetings.If you looked at Minister Wilkinson under the last year of the former government, he took 15 meetings and that was still a lot.

Yeah, Wilkinson was definitely environmentalist.That guy wasn't putting on a facade.Same thing with Guilbault.

So the overall number is up.by about 200 meetings per year.But it's really that that access to the top people who are making the top decisions that really reveals so much behind Prime Minister's Carnage agenda and why he's virtually given big oil every single item on their on their wish list, even though it means worsening climate disasters for the rest of us.

So this is not going to go well for the environmentalists.They're going to be sliding over to the NDP.And good for them.That's what they need to do.Weaken the liberals here.Carney is a charlatan.

You know, them sending 26 million over to Benin for the Greenport and all this green investment here in Abidjan, Cote de Lavore.Let's just look where our money is going here.So is there any street view here?So this is where our money is going for.Well, I just went out 68 million and all that.There's a couple of street views spots here.
