So we need a car It wouldn't be my car without rebuilding it or buying one which is a cheaper than what it's usually supposed to be So we're gonna go and have a little scavenge around Miami today See if we can find any good deals try and get ourselves a car and also I'm gonna be entering in my first ever rookie race in Miami as well.So you're gonna get to see that and the guys back at home.I've got some problems with with their cars as well.So we're going to address a load of things in this video.But first off, we need to go and scavenge and find ourselves a daily car.And I know just the place.

So, you've either broken a valve spring, valves, melted a seat in the valves, or one seat, and it's melted as you've driven it since.Two of those are related to the pops and bangs, Matt brother.And one of those will just be that.So we see broken valve springs and jumped rockers.And we see those because everyone sits there in neutral and revs the out of their car.designed to be revved unloaded, then they're just not, the RPM change is too fast.

It's too fast going up, it's too fast going down.And the valve chain jumps out of control.So, if it's broken a spring or it's jumped a rocker, it's because you was revving it, bruv.I wouldn't be surprised if we pull a valve out of it and there's a hole in the valve of it.We see it a lot on RS3s, where they run all right and then all of a sudden they get a misfire and a misfire.The more you drive it, the worse it gets because the melted hole gets bigger and bigger and bigger in the valve.

So get the rocker cover off, get a camera down and have a look at the valve spring.That'll give us an idea of what's what.But in all honesty, mate, no compression, that motor's coming out.So get to work.

This is as good as where we're getting it right now, but all we've got to look at is on this cylinder should have four valves, one below there, one below there, one below there, one below there.We're going to get the camera in because we can see the valve springs and we'll get the camera in, see if we can see a broken valve spring.If there's not a broken valve spring, then like Ricky was saying, the potential that the valve seat could have burnt out or there'd be a hole in the valve or a bent valve, which you can't see that unless you take the head off.We're going to show you right now if we've got a broken valve spring.Do you think they're going to be broken, Liam?That's the best case scenario, a broken valve spring.

OK, we found out the certificate of destruction.is when a repair costs 90 % of its value which I just still can't see it but the other thing which could be is that it has a technical frame or structural issues which I assume is like the UK if there's no repair procedures for a certain bit of frame or something like that they have to issue a certificate of destruction and there's only one little bit of frame damage there like over here look there's like this bit of frame here and that bit of frame which is bent back and i'm guessing that would join to there somehow and i don't know surely you could buy it could buy it for any other ferrari so why can you not repair that so far no wins see what we have next here we go we're at the concourse club in miami if you've watched any previous videos you would have seen that we love the concourse club and today is a big day because i'm entering in a race first ever race rookie race in a bmw m2 we don't know what's going to happen but there's professionals in the same race and it's hannah's birthday as well happy birthday let's bring it home for the hwbt team for hannah's birthday let's go rightfirst step, find a car.

Now some of you guys may have seen that I've actually drove this track before.When we was rebuilding the purple GT3 we brought that down to this track and also I've driven the BMW M2 race car as well which is what I'm driving now.bit closer to the apex but this time is gonna be the time that matters I'm actually entering in my first race so I need to push this car to the absolute limit but also making sure I don't crash it because this is not my car and anything that I do damage I'm gonna have to replace and pay for so it's time to get my head down here he comes oh he's flying And after a few laps, I was starting to feel comfortable with the car, but I had no idea where I was going to be in relation to the other pack.But I think my dad did.

And that was practice over and over again.and the next time I'm gonna be in the car every little bit is gonna matter okay no look at Copa but we've still got some leads here there and everywhere potentially an RS6 it's got a lot of damage though but the guys here at Blackhorse have just given me a heads up about another car which potentially could be for sale but before we get on to that we've got the Chiron here now in the last video we had the issue with the radiator.It was leaking out of this corner, like down here, just out of the core.Now, what I wanted to just cover here, some people have been saying, oh, Bob didn't test it, Bob didn't test it.Bob tested the radiator before it came here.But what we've seen and what I don't think is shown in the main channel, this, you see there, look, it's dented.

It's like this branch bit here has been pushed in and that has dented it.And that's where the leak was coming from.

And that would make sense because we put it in this box, right?

But the branches for the radiator were poking out the box.

Bob had to make a little cut out of the box, do you know?Look, you can see where Bob made the cut out here for the branch in there and the branch in there.and it looks like it's been dropped on that side and that's what's caused the damage.So right now we've got Bob on call and he's gonna come out and we're either gonna have to re -core it or weld it all back up and fix it.We're gonna find a way.What we do need to do is test the other ones we need to pressure test the other ones to make sure that they're all good another thing that's happened whilst we've been away as well is a little update the chassis leg remember we did that in gloss to start with now the lads here have run over it with some satin paint so it's satin lacquer so it matches and that's also satin so that's

looks literally as good as OEM now and another thing we're not quite finished yet remember here It had all that carbon damage.It was all smashed in there.The guys actually did the carbon repair here, rebuilt it all with carbon and resin and everything like that.This is not really like a structural piece as such.It's more cosmetic around there.Like it all adds to the structure, but that generally hadn't have gone in full deep.

So all this has been rebuilt using carbon.All that's left to do on that is to actually like satin lacquer it to make it look like the rest of it.It's all satin.easy enough job and then really we're hoping in the next main channel video we should actually get this car driving.All we need to do is fill the car with coolant and we can't fill it with coolant yet until that radiator leak is fixed and we just gotta really hope that this car runs to temperature.The one thing that I'm doubting is that Alex drove this car a lot with no coolant in and we've seen what happened to Matt's Huracan when he drove that with no coolant in.

It burnt out the water pump seals and if he's done that on this there's a lot of water pumps, there's a lot more than one water pump on this Bugatti and that would mean dropping the engine again to replace all the water pump seals.Pro qualifying is about to finish and now we're about to go out for my qualifying.First time on the blue tyres.

Okay, this is it.Rookie qualifying.Basically, what you get is 20 minutes to go out and do your best lap.This is the first time I've gone out on brand new tyres and it almost felt like a cheat code.I had so much more grip which gave me loads more confidence in the car.and now about to take you through a full lap.

So we've left the pits and we're on a flying lap here.Now remember, I'm in the rookie class here, but I'll be running in the same race with the pros.But regardless of what time I do, I'll still be placed against the rookies, if that makes sense.So I've just got to make sure I try and do the fastest lap possible to get ahead of them all and close to the pro race.This corner here, I was told by my coach, is one of the most vital corners on the track.And it's important to get the exit right because there's a super long straight now where we're trying to hit the top speed of the car.

And whilst the M2 is a pretty fast car, it felt quite slow on this track because there were some really long straights.So it is really important to get a big exit.completely flat down here, then late on the brakes, miss the first apex and try and touch the second one.I was a little wide here because I've gone in a little too fast and had a small snap out of the exit, which we weren't too happy about.But then we've got a long run now into the final two turns.Keeping it flat all the way until we see the kerb, hard on the brakes, throw the car in, touch the apex, try and stick it to the right -hand side before the final corner.

One side purple, one side white.We're not putting these door cards on because obviously the car's got to be painted.Some people did comment and say, why putting the interior in if the car's got to be painted?Well, the only thing on the car that has literally got to be painted is the roof panel.That's it.The doors, they come off separately and there's a few inside pieces of the doors that's got to be painted.

It's going to be a...This is going to be scary because it's a grid start, so standing start.The rookies are behind the pros regardless of the time, but we're in the same race.This could get carnage.I'm scared because the guy in front did a really good lap in qualifying, but then I think I was more consistent.

So this was it, race start.It's going to be super important for me to get a good start because I'm starting in second place in the rookie class.Remember that other cars in front are in a completely separate race.We're just racing number 83.And the lights were out and I got a pretty good start but 83 tried to close me off on the outside but left a huge gap on the inside where I managed to squeeze the car into and get around him.I was into first place in the rookie race.

Then I got an opportunity to take the guy in last place in the pro race but decided it wasn't worth the risk and tucked in just behind him.Now it's just important I could hold that first place position in the rookie race.And actually staying behind the pros helped my driving so much more.I could see where they were braking, where they were turning in, and I could also use the draft from the car in front to speed me up on the straights.And that's exactly what I was doing.I've just got to hold out this first lap to create a gap from the guy behind.

and things were going really well.I was staying with the pros in front and also the gap behind was getting bigger.And the gap behind now increased to over a couple of seconds.There's me going past now and then the other driver.So right now I'm leading my first ever race.Yes it is a rookie race but everyone's got to start somewhere.

I've just got to hold it together now for the full 20 -minute race to make sure I don't make any mistakes.But the guys in front started battling away, which could affect my race.And with all this battling going on, the worst was about to happen for me. I created a big gap between me and the guy behind me, but because of that accident, one car had broken down, which has caused a yellow flag, which now means a safety car is going to come out.

No, not at all.With the safety car being out, the whole pack now bunches up together sat behind that car.So all that lead that I just got has now been completely reversed.And here you can see how close everyone actually is now.It's bumper to bumper and this restart when the safety car comes back in is going to be so important for me to try and keep the lead of this race.So all I'm waiting for now is the green light and the safety car to come in so I could get that restart and I need to make sure it's a good one because if there's going to be any opportunity to overtake for the guy behind it's going to be on that restart.

Bugatti this the rose gold color strip and the light on the inside here the more I've seen it the more I do want to try and just wrap this silver and just see what it looks like one of the comments which got a lot of lights on the previous video was about the passenger side airbag, which I will show you here is the Bugatti airbag and Let's try and clear a few things up because we kind of rushed over it a little bit on the main channel.So this is the passenger airbag that has come out.So we've got the part number and we've got the H or J or A or whatever it is at the end.Now the Audi A3 8V, whether it's RS3, S3 or A3, providing it is the 8V model, which I think is from like 2018 to 2022, all have the exact same part number airbag, but with different years depending on when they were manufactured.Now it's the same explosive, it's the same actual airbag inside I was gonna buy another one just to show just to show you that it was the exact airbag and split it apart but then I'd spend like 120 quid just to prove people it we're just gonna say I'm wrong anyway I'm wrong so and another thing they said is this one okay so this isout the Bugatti this says MQB on the sticker which is actually stands for something German which means for cars with transverse engines which the transverse engines are sideways in the car not in line they're sideways.

Last time I checked this Bugatti had an engine and the gearbox which went that way down in line even though this is saying it's for a transverse car it ain't because that's gone in it so this airbag has come out of a transverse transverse cars mqb and on the one that went in it didn't say mqb on it but some of them do some of them don't as far as we can tell you it's exactly the same do you think we put the right one in it and it had the wrong one in it uh we could have so we now put the wrong look i get it i get it like there's so many things people have gone through like oh the windscreen is like a different strength and the windscreen is different thickness the way it moves it's different to an audi a3 it is a hundred percent the windscreen and the way an audi a3 is and the way you sit in an audi a3 compared to a bugatti is completely different but why use the same airbag if it wasn't safe it is the part number would be completely different as we found on the knee airbags we couldn't match the knee airbags so we had to have them reset and if we knew that then I would have just had this airbag reset we could have literally reused this airbag it could have been Rerolled back in there resealed and a new explosive put on we could have done that But literally this is exactly the same as far as you know, hopefully that clears all there's still gonna be people I know is saying I'm wrong and I don't know everything.I can't know everything It's impossible for me to know everything but as many airbags that I have replaced This is as good as it's gonna get I could eat my shoe at the end of it if I plug it in and it says there's a fault with a passenger airbag dab on the haters I Just want to show you the reasonwe want a car to daily and not the hire car this is the best car in the world it's the Chrysler Pacifica we call it the pacifier because it's just sensational but you ready for this three two one anywhere quick and we get gapped by everything and we've got no steeze points.We're getting gapped by a Ford thing.Round two?I mean that's three to five working days.
