Zia reacts to the Sky News interview

So she started the interview by asking me why Nigel Farage said that we should react with anger and fury.And I kept asking her, well, have you seen the body cam footage?And I kept asking, how did it make you feel?And she refused to answer that question.Then she asked why Nigel Farage said that white lives matter.I said, firstly, let's complete the sentence that Nigel said, because it is important.

Let's at least finish the sentence, if not the paragraph that he said, white lives matter just as much as black lives do.And then I asked her, do you agree with that statement?I must have asked her that five or six times.She couldn't even bring herself to agree with the concept that white lives matter as much as black lives.

I think in many cases they end up, you know, demonstrating the intrinsic and structural bias that exists in so many of these programs.So all I can say, Jeremy, people listening to this program, people watching it, we've just got to keep making the arguments.We've just got to keep pushing to make sure that we finally have a Britain where there's one law for everybody.We're going to do our part of reform.I know you do it as well, to say things that we believe to be true and see where the chips settle.
